"Neighborhood Park and Pool Candler Park plays host to countless events throughout the year, including concerts, festivals and the annual Sweetwater 420 Fest in celebration of Earth Day. There are pavilions for picnics, playgrounds for the kids, a golf course and athletic fields, as well as a public pool that is packed during the sweltering summer months. They also play movies in the park."

"Run by chef Rio La Gorda, this Saturday morning pop-up focuses on breakfast burritos brimming with eggs, Oaxacan cheese, beans, chorizo, and even fried chicken and tater tots. Laid off from her job as a chef due to the pandemic, La Gorda launched Gorditas ATL in hopes of one day transforming the pop-up into a bonafide food truck business. Menus are posted each week to Instagram. People place their orders online and pay via Venmo for pick-up on Saturday mornings at the Candler Park parking lot near the pool. With limited staff, it is hard to get a lot of time to swim but when you do get to swim, it is very nice. The water is warm, the pool is clean, and the lifeguards are doing their job as well. I feel safe and I am going to be a regular visitor every season. Thank you Brandy and Ian, and the rest of you guys for being there everyday. May I suggest giving your hired security guard more hours and a bit more pay to encourage him to stay a bit longer? I wish you guys were open until almost dark, cause sometimes, I don't get to swim because I don't get off work in time. Thank you for your hard work and dedication to all who work at Candler Park pool.

We hit the Festival out here and it was the first time and pretty cool,plenty of vendors and you could actually sit on the hill with a blanket and listen to a live band,will definitely go to this festival again next year

This playground has undergone huge renovation and is a super popular location for the local kids. The play equipment is really great!

One of Atlanta's best parks! It has a new playground under construction, a great pool setup, open fields, mature trees, good walking trails. For better & worse, it does have a solid 9 hole golf course. But the best part is that it's old, and nestled into the neighborhood, so it feels like it's always been there, compared to a clear-cut suburban park.

Just went to an arts festival here. Nice spot and well organized. The whole place seemed like fun. Hard to say how it is outside of festivals but it was more spacious than I expected. The lawn and playgrounds were well maintained. Looking forward to coming here more

As of May 23, 2024, they no longer have the playground up. It’s all torn down and fenced off. Used to take my kid here from time to time and was shocked to discover this during our most recent visit.
