Tacos are on the pricey side but taste great. I took the star off because the cashier never smiles and looks sad to be there. However she does the job so won’t complain!

Fish tacos and margaritas in a New Mexico meets diner atmosphere, with a splash of dance music thrown in for good measure.

We stumbled onto this place after seeing a Second City show, and it was such a great experience! The tacos were well-priced (10 or 11 dollars for 2 tacos) and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. I got the corn salsa which might be the best variation on this I've ever had. Some friends got the avocado salsa (which was basically guacamole) and I was fortunate enough to grab a huge bite of it. We talked to the owners and asked if they had any more locations around, because this is definitely a restaurant that should be franchised and located all over the country!

This was SO good. They specialize in fish tacos, but offer standard chicken and carnitas fare as well. They sell Mexican Coke as well to drink, which I had actually never had before and enjoyed. Staff was pleasant, the restaurant was clean and very nicely decorated. HIGHLY recommend.

Stopped in for taco Tuesday which was $3 for 4 mini tacos - a great deal. The shrimp tacos were the best tasting, salmon tasted like it was out of a can or those foil sealed bags which wasn’t awful but not at all what I was expecting. Chips and quaq was $7, the chips were very oily and quaq wasn’t super fresh. Staff wasn’t very welcoming in explaining the menu since it was our first visit, was friendlier at the end of our order and after but it was a little late. Pretty empty in our visit, maybe it’s more intended for late night bros off Wells street.

Surprisingly good variety of decent tacos! The $8 house margaritas were great. Perfect fast casual spot before or after a second city show. It was quite comfortable and well designed interior.

Pretty disappointing... ordered the poke bowl, quesadilla, & elote. There’s nothing wrong with the quality or service and the food tasted good for what it is but just wasn’t what I was expecting for what I paid. The poke bowl was more rice & beans with a relish of tuna, literally tiny diced cubes. Quesadillas were tasty but also small in portion. Overall, other people’s tacos looked more impressive but the price seemed too much for what they were serving. I’m probably gonna go elsewhere if I’m looking for poke bowls.

19$ gets you the two cheapest tacos on the menu (i guess there's a surcharge for mixing them?!). I was expecting something more authentic, which is not at all. Tacos aren't really any good either. Service was bland. Not sure how they get a 4.2 average. Not quite sure if it should be a 2 or 3 star for me...
