I LOVE to buy gifts here but there is a very crabby staff person who makes it really unpleasant to shop there. I think she works with the floral dept maybe. She isn’t rude but she is just matter of fact with an unfriendly edge. If you can avoid her it is a lovely place to shop.

This is a larger space than meets the eye initially. Once you walk in the charm is immediate but the back of the store has some good functional gifts like greeting cards as well. This is a fantastic spot for unique gifts, succulents, random topic books, some card games, and lovely decorations. Absolutely worth your time to stop by to peruse or find some gems. When we were there the staff were very pleasant!

I've been going here for 30+ years for my floral arrangements. This year my Winters Solstice arrangement was the best ever!!! I highly recommend Brown & Greene. The staff is excellent. The floral designers are truly artists. They keep within budget. They use fresh seasonal flowers which last a long time! You just provide your color scheme and they will amaze you with the design. You can even provide your own vase .

Lyn did an amazing job with some stunning arrangements for a funeral. Listened carefully to what we were after and delivered the most beautiful bouquets ever. Highly recommend!

Brown & Greene made the corsage for my son's homecoming date and it is absolutely stunning. Lovely flowers accented with a diamond rhinestone and a beautiful champagne-colored ribbon. So elegant! Thank you!

Wonderful neighborhood florist with a selection of decorative items from pots for houseplants to adorable bird seed ornaments, books and games. They made a fantastic bouquet to spruce up a work function. Very nice selection of vases to pick from and does a great job of arranging the floral piece and packing for travel!

What more can you ever ask for? Not only beautiful flowers, exceptionally creative gifts, and great service all for a fair price point but an owner who continues to go the distance to contribute to the community. Spend sometime here and observe their creativity and their support of customers and browsers. You will leave with a smile.

What a great neighborhood floral, gift and greeting card boutique shop! This is my go-to for cards, indoor plants and unique hit gifts! Staff are lovely, personable and helpful. A great gem in a quaint neighborhood!

I cannot say enough positive things about Brown & Greene Floral! Their service and quality cannot be beat. The team there offered to hand-deliver the flowers because the delivery destination was so close to their location. It ended up saving us money, and added such a nice, personal touch. The flowers lasted several weeks - certainly much longer than I would normally expect - and were so beautifully arranged. I was also so impressed by the quality of the vase.

If you want to order a special flower arrangement, one that is exceptionally beautiful and creative, go see Lisa and her staff at Browne and Greene. They created a beautiful arrangement for my mom's funeral recently and it was stunning. 5 stars for sure. They listened to what I wanted and stayed within my budget. Lisa has a gift!!

If you are into ceramic pottery and plants this is a lovely shop with lots of great looking pots, plants, and other decorative items. Staff were attentive and helpful. They have a small selection of house plants that are of exceptional quality at premium prices. For this reason, I decided to pay the $45 for a six inch Bird of Paradise tropical plant in its nursery container. Unfortunately, upon bringing it home I soon discovered that it was heavily infested with fungus gnats. These gnats are a nightmare as they quickly fly to the soil of every plant in your house and commence laying 100 eggs each. Before you know it, you are sharing your home with successive generations of these gnats that take many repeated treatments to get rid of, usually over two to three months. This is why I don't buy plants at Home Depot. These gnats are not hard to spot so B & G should have been on top of this, as no plant is worth the headache these pests bring. Premium prices usually imply premium care. Any store could get these pests from a supplier, so a little understanding is called for...... yet ....... I don't know if I'll venture to buy another plant from B & G. I hope they are more observant of the plants they are selling. To their credit they did ask if I wanted to return the plant. However, since it already released its gnats into my house and I've already treated it, there's little point in returning it now. Unfortunately, I'll now have to treat all my plants to prevent more generations of gnats. Ughh!!

Buyer beware. This is a good place for the floral design - always well done and a modern style. However their merchandise is overpriced. Note that there are many stores in town with the same decor items for less money. Down the street the exact same item is selling for $12 versus $25! at Brown and Green. They have an $8 item that came be found at a few locally owned stores for $5 (same at all the other stores). For some of the same plants and exact same pots a good place is Wagners.

Called from out of state to get flowers for my sister and got great help from Gabby who was very knowledgeable about flowers and created a beautiful bouquet.

Over price for what u get but nice people and store. $50.00 for small bouquet with 4 roses and some fillers, ouch! Not what I expected with value of products. Nice job itherwtse

Lynn & Gabby really went the extra mile to ensure my corporate dinner party event was elegantly adorned. We had straight forward dialogue which helped communicate clear expectations, and eliminated issues after the fact. I'm looking forward to working with them again soon!

My boyfriend and I just moved to the neighborhood and we were so ecstatic to discover this cute little shop just down the street from us! Super friendly service and great assortment of merchandise. We were just passing by and weren't planning on purchasing anything initially, yet we left the store falling in love with a ton of their items and just had to take some home with us. Along with florals, they also carry matches, candles, pots, cards, and various trinkets. I hope they replenish and rotate their assortments frequently because I will definitely be returning again often!

Was an unfortunate experience, poor help, and unfriendly staff. Was made to feel uncomfortable shopping in the store, and attendant was snobby.

I called to have flowers delivered to my sister in law who had recently lost her mother. The bouquet that was delivered was perfect! Great communication as well. Great taste in flowers and all around very happy. I live in CA so it is nice to know who to call for floral deliveries. Will def use this shop again in the future.

You will never be disappointed with the arrangements, service, or the experience of walking into this warm and beautiful shoppe. Each floral masterpiece I've ordered is a non traditional vision. Let the designers do their thing. And support small, local stores like Brown and Greene!

My husband ordered flowers for valentines. They were just ok for $100. I was not wow'd at all. Also they charged our credit card 3x. Even though the problem was fixed our checking account had overdrafts! I will go back to arts and flowers.

Great work! I came in with a vase I was using as a hostess gift. I was in from Chicago and had a small window to make it happen. They worked with me on a concept and even talked me into a flower that was less per stem. They turned it around in 45-minutes. The results were stunning and talked about by everyone who came to the shower. Huge kudos!

This little French floral shop tucked away in Linden Hills should be everyone's neighborhood floral escape and destination for that special bouquet you need as a gift or a splurge for yourself. Their shop includes hand-made cards, centerpieces and artsy gifts of distinction. Though now residing on the West Coast, I grew up in Edina and return several times a year to visit family, and head directly to Brown and Greene for the gifts I will need and to stock up on cards. Owner Lyn is often working with customers directly and shares her beautiful talents with each bouquet.

They are very good at staying in your budget when you want to create lovely bouquet of flowers. You can tell them you want to spend $20 with colors of red and green and they do just that. They are quite pretty but very expensive. That being said the flowers stay alive for a very long time and are quite unique looking. The service is fanatic

I thought I found a gold mine in a small neighborhood business, but boy was I WRONG. My first order was great! My second (sent to my grieving boss & his family), was put together as he said "like no one really cared", after having it for less than 24 hours it continued to decline. His wife called (who even thinks of calling during a time like this), the shop willingly replaced it that day with a pretty arrangement. Third order included 3 arrangements for a funeral which equaled almost $300. I called the day following the funeral with concerns in regard to the funeral flowers and to touch base about my disappointment in the flowers sent to the home. I asked whom I was speaking to and the person wanted to know who I was first. I explained who I was & why I was calling, she was very defensive. She explained that they replaced the flowers and that things happen out of their control during transport. I expressed my disappointment and she was unwilling to listen to my opinion or my concerns. She wanted to know what my next concern was as she said, "we have taken care of that issue now we are moving on". She may have been done, but I was not - yes I wanted to discuss it in more depth, but that was not an option. I expressed my concern about what may have happened to the funeral flowers, (3 arrangements), she told me they were taken care of and there was nothing else we needed to discuss. I had a reason to be concerned and her behavior was in no way giving me any positive feelings that it truly was ok. Then she finally asked if I knew Lisa, I clearly said no, (seriously how would I know her?), she said Lisa delivered the arrangements to the church herself - if arrangements are above a certain price, they deliver themselves. Since I was looking on-line at the time I could see Lisa was a staff member. Well that would have relieved my concerns right away upfront! During the call I figured out I was speaking with the owner Lyn. I was disappointed in her lack of customer service, her unwillingness to listen to my concerns and her arrogant attitude. I may be one person, but I'm a flower person, I was so excited to have found a new place to rely on for not only my personal use, but also for my company use. Being the EA for the CHRO of a mid-size company it's nice to have companies I can rely on in my pocket for all occasions. Most local business' would have apologized for the second delivery, sent out another arrangement (which they did) but also reimbursed the buyer when they called in or even stated they would give them X% off on their next purchase - NOTHING, never even a sorry from Lyn. I won't be using Brown & Greene Floral going forward, not because there was a mistake in the arrangement, but because of how they treated me as a customer. They just lost a potentially large business customer and a very regular personal customer.

I love B & G. I have been working with them for 4 years now, since my wedding flowers. First I love flowers. So it is hard to go wrong. The beautiful shop makes it so much more fun. I buy all flowers for my grandmother to freshen her kitchen bouquets, client gifts, and for my kitchen counter as well. I never give specific instructions to them anymore because they do such a beautiful job without any direction. I give them my budget and they come up with exquisite arrangements. I don't know if it is a good sign that they now know me by name, and that I know their names as well. Perhaps I frequent a bit too much. Their service is amazing, everyone that works there is so kind and helpful. I have no favorites. Especially for our client gifts I would never go anywhere else. Our clients expect the best from us, and I can rely on B & G to deliver florals worthy of the homes we put them in. Thanks Ladies!

I got my girlfriend flowers for her birthday, she loved them and the price was very reasonable! Plus, It feels great to support a small business!

Brown and Green Floral did the flowers for our Daughters wedding this September. They were beyond my very best expectations. Every person we spoke to at the wedding and those now seeing pictures commented on how absolutely fantastic the flowers were. The team at Brown & Green were fun and professional every step of the way. They were wonderful to work with especially since we lived in another state and had to do this long distance. The wedding was at Aria in Downtown Minneapolis and they did not leave the venue until it looked exactly as we wished and every petal in place and every candle lit. The arrangements and bouquets were so unique and sophisticated we were all in awe at the quality of their work. We got more than our money's worth for sure. If you need floral arrangements for any occasion look no further. Brown & Green is a place(which is so cool by the way) and a team you can trust.
