"Bobe’s sharp Scandi-style dining room, with its intricate pressed ceilings and paneled walls, screams “fussy tasting menu.” But it’s actually just a bistro that’s been all dressed up. There are plenty of upmarket dishes, plus simple, down-to-earth plates with fancy flashes, like a homey agnolotti served with charred eggplant and tomato water, or fries sprinkled with fennel pollen. Unlike a lot of other New Nordic restaurants in the city, the menu here is a la carte, so you can stop by for ribeye with fries (and chestnut sauce!) and a glass of gamay. Or, you could make a night of it and order The Taste of Bobe: four dishes for a set price." - Mary Holland

"In a cobbled city centre square stands this attractive townhouse that's now in the hands of Danish celebrity chef, Bo Bech. His simply decorated contemporary bistro offers reasonable pricing and plenty of flexibility on an extensive à la carte menu. There's strong cooking and great produce across the board, but those with a sweet tooth should keep their eye out for the cheesecake with smoked maple syrup. A wine bar in the basement provides ample opportunity to extend your visit." - Michelin Inspector

A very enjoyable dinner. The dishes were delicious with unique flavor combinations. I especially recommend the tartare with grapefruit, the caramelized bread with ice cream, and the cotton candy we received as a gift with our coffee. The service was highly professional and friendly. You fully deserve a Michelin distinction.

We booked a dinner in this restaurant when we travelled in Copenhagen. We heard it’s a Michelin restaurant also, so we had higher expectations and actually we found its deserve to have a trying! Very cozy design and decoration. The only disadvantage is that the table is bit small and the space for guests is quite small and noisy inside. The service is wonderful, all the food and wine recommended by the staff are awesome. I really like the oyster, very fresh and the salt already attached on the edge of the shell, so when you eat it, the salt will be melted in your mouth simultaneously with the oyster. And also the beef and salmon are also nice!!!!!!! The sauce is awesome, I don’t know how they cooked it, but it’s yummy.

The first thing I would say is that the pictures of the dining space on google does not do it justice. It looks like a cafeteria. In real life I found it to be much more elegant and lively. My table was special as I was facing the kitchen and watching the magic happen. I had the raw langoustine for my first course and the carrots in blood orange sauce for my second course. They were both to die for. I took chances with my main course and ordered the lamb heart. It was very well done but as I suspected I didn’t really love the combination of beets with meat. They just don’t work. I had the lemon tart for dessert. That was not good at all. I am a dessert person. There is no dessert that I don’t like especially if it has lemon in it. But this thing was not good at all. It was all meringue. Very sweet meringue and hardly any lemon curd to break the sweetness. The shell was also ultra thin. I was really disappointed. Although my second two courses were not great, I still gave the food four stars because the first two were truly off the charts

I recently had a business dinner at Restaurant Bobe in Copenhagen, and it was a truly enjoyable experience! We started with the avocado starter, which was not only beautifully presented but also bursting with flavor. It set a great tone for the evening and was a perfect conversation starter. For the main course, I opted for the tenderloin, and it was absolutely fantastic – cooked to perfection, tender, and packed with rich flavors. The sides were thoughtfully chosen, enhancing the overall meal and making it a well-rounded dining experience. To wrap up the evening, I couldn’t resist the chocolate mousse for dessert although I did taste the raspberry dessert too. It was rich and creamy, with just the right amount of sweetness – a perfect way to end a productive meeting & I balanced it with some cappuccino! The atmosphere at Bobe is warm and welcoming, which made it a great spot for a business dinner. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. For those bread & butter lovers, these guys got it on point! Overall, I highly recommend Restaurant Bobe for anyone looking to impress clients or colleagues in Copenhagen. The exceptional food and inviting atmosphere made it a memorable dining experience! The staff were also EXCEPTIONAL.

Super cosy atmosphere and good service. The chicken and scallop dish was way too salty, the langustine was really creative, the desert was great, but overall rather average compared to other Michelin recommended restaurants in the same category.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Bobe. The restaurant is beautifully designed and so cozy. I was sat next to a fireplace with a view of the kitchen. The helpful and kind staff made suggestions for each course for both drinks and food. Don't miss the gnocci with sorrel, it was the highlight of my experience. I may stop in for another desert before returning stateside.

My husband and I often dine using the Michelin guide for recommendations and hope other diners will avoid the mistake we have just made: Bobe restuarant was just fine at best, disappointing at worst. We saw the head chef (Bo Bech) had previously attained a michelin star at a parisian restuarant many years ago, and were pleased to see we would have our dishes made by him today. The oysters were fine for the price. The starters (langoustine and tartare) were good but the tartare lacked something to stick it to the rest of the dish without it all falling apart. The "middle dishes" were where it started going downhill, my husband's salmon was good but the sauce that came with it added nothing to the dish. My fried chicken and scallops (a dish I have never seen before and hope to never see again) was confusing: the umami of the fried chicken and sauce overwhelmed the delicate flavour of the scallops which were sort of placed on top. The mains were very disappointing: my suckling pig was dry and there was not enough contrast of flavours, creamy sauce, a fried shell thing on top, with cheese over it, so just cream mixed in with diced dry pork. My husband's wild duck and pumpkin tasted good but the coffee sauce it came with completely overwhelmed the duck's flavour. Game has a pretty strong taste so imagine how overpowering the sauce was to achieve this feat. Service was slow, the bread was not warm, hard to break due to it's twig/phallic shape (and didn't help that the staff didnt provide a bread/butter knife), butter was cold and hard in the middle still and you are to use a flat wooden rectangle as the bread plate(?). Cocktails were also underwhelming. TLDR; ingredients were of good quality, shame they had to suffer these cooking methods. Flavours were incongruent. Service was lacking. I can see how this chef remains just a celebrity chef and hasn't achieved another star in over a decade.

My dining experience at Bobe Restaurant in Copenhagen was truly exceptional. The restaurant's atmosphere was warm and inviting, creating a friendly and comfortable setting for the meal. Each dish I tried left a lasting impression, and I couldn't help but discuss the wonderful flavors and creative combination with my companions. From the crunch of some dishes to the vibrant flavors of the veggies and the Grill flavor fish and scallop with delicious spises. And let's not forget the dessert Cardamom ice cream with caramelized toast, which were a delightful ending to the meal, both in terms of texture and aroma and taste. To complement the culinary experience, the cocktails were expertly crafted, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to the evening. Bobe Restaurant in Copenhagen is a must-visit for anyone seeking an unforgettable dining experience that engages all the senses.
