"Bobe’s sharp Scandi-style dining room, with its intricate pressed ceilings and paneled walls, screams “fussy tasting menu.” But it’s actually just a bistro that’s been all dressed up. There are plenty of upmarket dishes, plus simple, down-to-earth plates with fancy flashes, like a homey agnolotti served with charred eggplant and tomato water, or fries sprinkled with fennel pollen. Unlike a lot of other New Nordic restaurants in the city, the menu here is a la carte, so you can stop by for ribeye with fries (and chestnut sauce!) and a glass of gamay.
