Finally stopped by this cafe that’s right around the corner of my apt. Grabbed a house blend drip coffee and an everything bagel toasted with scallion cream cheese. It’s a small cafe and there’s only two tables and a bar seating area. The baristas are friendly and the coffee is decent. This place is always busy but was quick to grab and go. I’d be back to try different breakfast items and drinks!

We ate our breakfast here. We had 2 cold brew coffee, a cream cheese sesame bagel and oatmeal. All of it was very good. The staff is super friendly!

Slow drip coffee was very good, got the egg sandwich on brioche bread, delicious! Did not have salt and pepper so if you are on the run make sure to bring some with you. Lots of space to sit, outdoor seating which is great for people watching, good pricing for NYC, friendly customer service.

Very small but plenty of spots to sit. The pour over I got was so good and so was the egg, cheddar and avocado sandwich. Service was fast and friendly!

Was in the area looking for a nice coffee spot to relax before catching my way home and stumbled upon Blue Spoon Coffee. The Food: Got myself a iced coffee for this visit. Coffee was good and straightforward. Not too sweet or too bitter. The Service: Service was fast and the staff here were friendly! The Atmosphere: Nice and small coffee shop. Spacious enough to loiter a bit and have a cup of coffee or pastry. And clean as well. Overall, a 4/5. Very nice spot to get a quick cup of coffee or to relax. Recommend stopping by if you have a chance.

Visited here as local to where we are staying and had excellent reviews. Didn't disappoint. The iced coffee was perfect. I had oatmeal with honey, cinnamon and walnuts then swapped for half of my husband's Elvis sandwich which was banana, bacon, peanut butter and honey on toasted bread. Out of this world! You won't be disappointed.

Right around the corner... Who knew how cosy the Financial District is!! We wandered her around the corner finding smiling faces and great coffee. I had an egg plate and some bacon, hit the spot. Hot coffee.... always nice. Sat outside!

One of the few spots in the area where I was able to grab a coffee and set up to get some work done. I ordered a hot mocha latte and sausage, egg, and cheese on a brioche bun and both were pretty good. Coffee wasn't overly sweet and I was definitely happy with the choice. Additionally, service was fast and the shop is kept clean. There's definitely limited space but I thought blue spoon was a good coffee shop.

My favorite coffee shop in the area! The staff are so, so nice, the coffee is great, the bagels are amazing (brought in from a Brooklyn bagel shop each day), food is great, and I love their baked goods. Would benefit from a little more variety in their scone options, but the oat currant one is very good. Don't miss it if you're in FiDi- even if it's a Saturday!

Coffee tasted delicious! Service was quick and efficient. Ambiance was very cramped and scattered. Not really a place to sit and work or study.

Cute little coffee shop. Staff were friendly and my order came out quickly. I got the smoked turkey, brie, and apple panini. The sandwich was good, was bummed the apple slices were cooked and not crispy and crunchy. I enjoyed my flat white. Be prepared this cafe is small, if you are looking for a coffee shop to eat while you work, space is limited here. Otherwise it was a nice experience overall. I did snag a couple chocolate chip cookies on my way out cuz they looked scrumptious.

These guys are friendly and made a really nice breakfast wrap. Small and across the street from Sbux, which you won't miss.

Amazing little cafe that I kept going back to a few days during my stay in the FiDi. I tried a variety of iced coffees and lattes, and all were delicious. Wait time wasn't bad, despite the steady flow of people coming in. There's also an assortment of good items, but I only got a croissant once, and it was solid. If I'm ever in that part of town again, I would be hard pressed to go anywhere but Blue Spoon!

The breakfast sandwich was great and my latte was creamy. The staff was friendly and was welcoming.

Got takeout from here and it was delicious! Roasted Turkey sandwich with apple and Brie was so tasty for brunch/lunch. Honey lavender latte also delicious. Awesome casual spot to grab and go!

The oat latte was good but the croissant was extremely dry (at ~8 am in the morning so maybe it wasn't fresh?).

This cafe is a great spot to stop by when you're in the area. It is near the Fulton Street station and across the street from the Pearson testing center. Staff are super friendly and are always in a good mood. Although the cafe is tiny, seats open up quick. There are also stools lining one side of the windows. I've tried their toasted everything bagel with cream cheese, jasmine green tea, and cranberry scone. Their bagels are one of the best and on par with Brooklyn bagels! I'm a bagel connoisseur and won't finish them if they aren't good. I devoured this! The smear isn't just a smear either and I love that they do not skimp on cream cheese. The cranberry scone was my least favorite. It was too dry, but the flavor was there. I'll definitely stop by when I'm in the area again and order their bagel! Maybe I'll try their sandwiches next time... maybe.

Great place in terms of service and food. The people that work there are very nice and friendly. There's some great breakfast food there that I like to stop by and get on my way to work. It does get super busy on weekday mornings, but that's NY for you. However, I don't think the coffee is that great especially for the price. I tried the iced chai latte and the pumpkin spice latte. Both of them weren't that great. The pumpkin spice latte especially I would not buy again.

found this cafe on Yelp and ordered a Breakfast Wrap with Bacon and Tomatoes. Order was ready on time and staff were very nice, will definitely come back!

I was super excited to try Blue Spoon after reading such great reviews about their lavender latte and bagels! And the shop was super walkable from where we were staying, so it was a no-brainer. But I don't know if I visited during one of their "off days" or what... the honey lavender latte was just ok and the toasted everything bagel with cream cheese was mediocre. :( I was bummed. I think that I would have to return and give both a second shot...

I got a hot honey lavender latte with oat milk and it was great! It wasn't bitter or too sweet. It was, however, pricey but this is in the financial district so I'm not surprised. I went early in the morning and the baristas were very nice and patient with any questions I had. I want to learn to make my own lavender syrup so I can recreate it at home!

Wow I love their coffee! I ordered cappuccino (with famous black cat blend) and drip coffee (with blue spoon blend), all from intelligentsia. Brilliant.

The drip coffee was good but the croissant was not fresh and on the rubbery side. Best not to offer it at all if it's going to be inedible.

Great coffee shop for a morning treat! I got the honey lavender latte and a toasted everything bagel with cream cheese. The latte was sweet but not too sweet and the bagel was perfectly toasted with the right amount if cream cheese/ Everything was delicious and this was the perfect way to start my morning!

I love this coffee place. I live in the area so not only is it convenient, but delicious. Some of the best coffee I've had- really excellent espresso. The staff are also so kind and wonderful. I can't recommend this place enough!

Location: Blue Spoon coffee is located at FiDi area where you can take 2,3,A,C 4,5 train here. Although place is quiet tiny, they still have some seats to dine in. They serve Intel coffee and their price is comparatively high. Overall: I do not come here often because it is very far from where I live but I guess it is a hot spot for those who reside at FiDi.

I finally made it back to New York after two years of my company's travel freeze and the first coffee I wanted was from Blue Spoon. Black Fox is good but the service at Blue Spoon has always been above and beyond and I'm happy to report after a 2 year hiatus with a global pandemic the same exact guy took my order and Tim still made my latte (and nailed it), I was so emotional about how happy I was to be there that they gave me a free cookie which I promptly ate for breakfast soooo freaking gooood. Blue Spoon will always have my heart in FiDi

Was visiting NY and found this place near our hotel People were coming in and out on a weekday morning Cashier was friendly and smiled House coffee was very good - smooth and not acidic Bagels were soft and chewy Oatmeal was satisfying The end.

The service and food are amazing. Right in the middle of everything. Great for someone that needs a quick bite.

Blue spoon coffee June 4th 2016, Saturday 11:30am Nothing is better than a classic cup of almond cappuccino to wake me up to for a summer NYC weekend! Blue spoon is a cute small coffee shop at the corner of Williams st and platt st. Staffs are very friendly and you can get a buy 10 get 1 free score card if you are a frequenter of the neighborhood. The beans have a overall very well balanced state - a light acid note, smoky and lightly earthy finish with medium aroma. There are also lavender and matcha flavor available that I'd love to try out next time.

What a charming place - amazing coffee, tea and lunches smack in the middle of the financial district. While the place lacks room and has limited seating, the wonderful service and patrons make up for it in spades. Do yourself a favor, and check it out, you'll be glad you did!

This little coffee joint was just around the corner from my hotel and it couldn't have been more perfect. The staff was incredibly friendly no matter what time we strolled through the door. By our second visit they had already remembered us. We enjoyed Honey Lavender Lattes (both hot and cold), Ice Coffees galore, and those addictive chocolate chip cookies. It was such a great vibe that we'd end up chilling there and shooting the breeze with the staff. I was honestly a little sad when the trip came to an end and we bought our last coffees at the shop. It'll always have a special place for me, but hopefully my travels will bring me back into their orbit sometime soon.

Cute little coffee shop in the heart of Fidi - a place lacking in cute food places. I tried the chicken dumpling soup, which was perfectly hot and delicious, and the roast chicken, avocado, cheddar sandwich, which was also delicious. Sandwich was made on Balthazar bread, ingredients tasted top quality. My one complaint was that I waited an hour or so to eat the second half of my sandwich and it didn't taste great because the avocado and lettuce got old fast. But eat your sandwich right away and it'll be delicious! I will definitely be back!

Staff here always seem pissed off lately, always such attitude. Also, they now close st 4pm. The only place to get coffee in FiDi after 4pm is Starbucks. Used to be my regular lunch place to go to, definitely stopping that.

easy to find, small cute coffee shop. decent pricing. the staffs were friendly and respectful. i got an iced oat latte - it's pretty good - just tastes a bit watery but will still be open to trying other items on their menu!

WOW I am so happy I found this place! I got an everything bagel with chive cream cheese (they did not skimp on the cream cheese). The bagel was so fresh and chewy. This is now going to be my go to spot- I can't wait to recommend to all my friends in the area! I'm hoping to try the breakfast sandwich next time I'm here. Hopefully it's as good as the bagel!

One of the best cafes in all of FiDi! Great food, delicious coffee and excellent service. It's nice to see a small, independent place still thriving. It's a classic NY coffee place -- no frills but has everything you need.

I skipped starbucks just to come here and I'm so glad I did! My breakfast sandwich was perfect! Just the way I like my eggs and everything. The matcha lemonade! omg It was so deliciousssss! I've never had that combination before. I highly recommend coming here. Good food & the employees were very nice! :)

This is a great spot not far off broadway. Service was quick, people were friendly and cool vibe. Got the avocado toast with eggs- fresh and quick. Will be back

Cute little cafe. The staff was very friendly and inviting. I ordered a small Honey Lavender Latte and it was a little strong for me (I'm not an avid coffee drinker, so it could be good for normal people. ha!), but it had some good flavor to it. It woke me right up to finish my workday and I was talking a mile a minute!

Blue Spoon NY Manhattan FiDi 1pm Saturday 13th June 2015 Four Stars Got a cold brew for $4. It was good. Low acid. Blank plastic cup. Regular ice. The people working were nice. There is a window that looks a door. There wasn't any seating.

Best coffee shop in fidi by far! The staff is amazing, and the food is consistently great. Makes me happy every time I'm there.

A cute, charming coffee shop with friendly staff. I got their honey lavender latte, which was warm, soothing, and really hit the spot - made my day immediately better! There aren't too many chairs to sit and do work, but one of these days, I'd like to grab a seat. I love that they have a bar/table next to the window - perfect for people watching while working.

In the heart of downtown New York across the street from the federal reserve building, is a third wave coffee shop, where they definitely know what you're doing when it comes to coffee. Blue spoon has been in the location for four years and is under the helm of Tim Lannen. This shop is little sister to the original on chambers street. The training is not as intensive as say you might find at intelligentsia, but, they are trained and management does keep a close eye on the process. Equally important the baristas all have an cool attitude: not too stuffy, not that feeling like they are doing you a favor by serving you your coffee. My drink of choice, brevé cortado:)
