Today we joined some friends at Blue Plate Oysterette. The food was delicious and interesting. We had the Ginger/Carrot Salad, 12 Oysters and Crab Cakes. Food was beyond good. My only complaint was that the oysters were so tiny but it was a special so I guess you get what you pay for. See photos. The place is immaculate and outside seating was great. Wait staff was attentive and pleasant. We will go again. Hopefully the oysters will be a bit bigger next time.

The place is very cozy, nothing special…. What is special is the service, the kindness of the staff, the quality of the food, the freshness of the oysters and good bubbles. Really recommended of course: Oysters Lobster roll Prawns Tartar I went with my girlfriend and we enjoyed a lot! Thanks for everything See you soon

Finally got to check out this place and definitely coming again. If you are going for DineLA, it's a great deal. You can't share your food but not everyone at your table has to get DineLA, which is pretty flexible of them. The clam chowder was lovely. Then you can get a mini tower (3 oysters, 2 shrimp, and 1 Peruvian scallop) or got half a dozen of oysters fresh (can get them grilled also). Then for the entree, got the lobster roll (which you can get cold on a lettuce cup) with old bay seasoned fries. The service was professional and our server knew the menu and the ingredients used. We sat in the covered area outside and it was lovely. Warm due to the heaters and they allow dogs in the outdoor seating area. For food, you spend close to $50-60. Close to $80 to $100 with drinks.

On our last day in Santa Monica, we found this amazing restaurant and did not let us down from fabulous service to fantastic to amazing drinks food. This is a must do restaurant if in the area. You won't be disappointed 😌

Blue Plate Oysterette is a seaside dream! We indulged in the seafood tower—absolute perfection! Paired with my favorite Roederer Estate champagne, it was bubbles for days. We sat at a high top with endless ocean views, making it feel like a mini-vacation. The clam chowder was spot on, and my partner’s fish and chips were deliciously crispy. Our waiter, Chase, was a delight—fantastic and fun! If you’re looking for great food, stunning views, and a fabulous vibe, this place is a must!

Yum yum yum!! This place has the most perfect location, friendly staff and delicious food! We shared the spicy tuna crispy rice which was perfection. The rice wasn’t too crispy and the flavors were amazing. We also had the eggless Caesar salad and the fried fish sandwich. Both were beyond yummy! The fried fish was not over breaded and the Caesar has the perfect balance of dressing and salad. Highly recommend!

This place exceeded all of my expectations. How often do you go to a restaurant and *every* dish is perfect? Oysters? Fresh as heck. Crab cake? Delicious. Fish’n’chips? Heavenly. Fried oyster hand roll? Phenomenal. You truly can’t go wrong. Adorable patio allows for fantastic views and great people watching.
