A beautiful restaurant with a warm, traditional atmosphere. The service is truly exceptional—everyone is kind, attentive, and eager to make your experience memorable. Upon arrival, you’re welcomed with a complimentary glass of spiced Omani water, which sets the tone for the meal. At the end of your meal, they treat you to dates and a cup of coffee, adding a lovely finishing touch to the experience. The restaurant features a terrace with breathtaking views of the sea and the fort, as well as beautifully decorated traditional indoor lounges. The food is of excellent quality; I tried the Omani lasagna, and it was absolutely delicious. This place is a perfect mix of hospitality, tradition, and amazing food. Highly recommended!

This restaurant was always so crowded, and you had to wait for a long time, so we hadn’t been here for quite a while.After a long time of craving Shuwa, we decided to go there for lunch on a weekday. As usual, all the tables and rooms were full.They told us it would take 40 minutes for a table to become available, and they seated us in a very beautiful area to wait.The atmosphere was so pleasant that the waiting time didn’t bother us at all.The staff were attentive and quick, paying close attention to all the guests. They took our orders promptly, and within 10 minutes, all the food was served. The flavors were incredibly delicious.After the meal, we were treated to complimentary Omani coffee and dates.

Great food, decent price, very nice view. The seafood is very fresh, with good use of herb and spices. The settings is very well decorated, tradition and elegant, with very nice dinnerware. Overall a great dining experience.

Selected on reputation. Despite arriving ½hr early we were warmly welcomed. Given Frankincense water to start. Orders were taken verbally and repeated. Starters can be shared. Main courses arrived promptly and were well presented. Sweets include ice cream and are generous if you can fit one in. Omani coffee is offered with dates if you're a couple you can eat outside on a narrow balcony. You can eat seated at a table or on cushions.

Very nice traditional restaurant. The ambiance is very relaxing and traditional style. You feel as you are eating at an Omani friend house. You can sit on the floor cushions or at a table, whatever you prefer. Try the okra, it was our favorite dish. We also had the shuwa which was very delicious. We enjoyed the kayak tea to end the meal. They also offered us some Omani dates at the end of the meal. Perfect.

It was a perfect experience in Bait Al luban, The food is really amazing!! The staff are so friendly and the view is wow. I don’t usually eat seafood but the grilled one with rice was so good ! Also the shuwa was amazing ! I loved the salad it has really nice flavors! I loved it !

We visited this restaurant for lunch, and I must say, it was one of the best we experienced during our vacation in Muscat. We ordered Shuwa, Saloonat Dijaj, Qabuli Rice, Luqaimat, and Karak tea. The food was amazing, offering an authentic Omani taste. The Shuwa was amazing —mildly spiced, slow-cooked, and rich in flavor. The restaurant welcomed us with detox water and served us to Arabic coffee and dates after our meal, all complimentary. While the prices are slightly on the higher side, they are well worth it for the ambiance, the beautiful Corniche view, and the authentic Omani cuisine. Free parking is available in front of the restaurant, except on Fridays, which was convenient. I highly recommend this restaurant for a authentic and traditional Omani dining experience!

📌 Food: - Qubooli was very delicious. Probably not the best in Muscat but definitely among top 10. The rice could’ve been cooked better. The meat was cooked well. - Jarjeer Salad: Delicious but the ingredients were low. I liked to taste more stuff in the salad. - Papllo soup: If you’re a seafood person, definitely try this out. A creative seafood soup. 📌 Service: - The staff are kind and helpful. The tables, dishes, cups and glasses might not be well cleaned. 📌 Atmosphere: - I like the old Omani atmosphere, specially the traditional social rooms in which you sit on floor instead of the table. You’re gonna like it. - It was a little hard to find the entrance. 📌 Price - About the average of its kind. Maybe more expensive than its similars, due to its location in a touristic area. 📌 Drinks: - We ordered Omani coffee after the meal which was very nice. They serve it with some tasty dates.
