One of the greatest customer experiences I've ever had, no exaggeration. We were expecting our first baby and Meghan spent a ton of time walking us through everything, and what would and would not work for us given our personal needs. We also had extra needs for accessibility, and the whole team (owner included) worked together to make sure we had all our questions answered. We genuinely felt like it wasn't about the sale, they just wanted to be sure that two new parents were going in well-prepared. When we placed the order, rather than pick it up, we were lazy and were fine just having it delivered to us and we'd figure out the setup. Babesta wouldn't have it! Aslan delivered the stroller to us PERSONALLY, and walked us through all the ins and outs to make sure we understood how to use it, and how to attach and use all the little accessories that came with it. One of the best sales experiences I've ever had (and at good prices), and I'd recommend shopping here to anyone who asked.

Best baby store in NYC. My husband and I were visiting from out of town and wanted to check out the store to look at strollers. We were already disappointed in what was available to look at in the major department stores. The sales rep was extremely helpful and took the time to work with us even knowing we were not planning on buying anything during our visit. I highly recommend coming here to shop for baby items. If I lived in NY I would use them for my registry!

I had an amazing experience at Babesta! I ordered a swaddle online and a day later they reached out to let me know that unfortunately they had just run out and wouldn't be getting any more in until the next week. Since this was a gift needed sooner than that, they offered to give me a set of 2 swaddles that were very similar and honored the original price. When I came to pick them up, they beautifully gift wrapped them for me free of charge! All in all great customer experience and I would definitely be back to shop again.

They saved the day! We needed a double stroller and they were able to assemble and deliver it to the hotel same day. 10/10 amazing service.

We were delighted with our first experience at Babesta. We purchased a new stroller at the store in Tribeca and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. On top of that, the color we wanted wasn’t in stock and they were kind enough to let us use a loaner until our stroller was delivered! This courtesy was above and beyond anything we ever imagined and we are so grateful.

This is the most amazing store to get your full kit of baby items! Our baby come rather unexpectedly and quickly- the Babesta team went above and beyond in sharing their expertise, sourcing the right items, completing our information gaps, and helping us create the magic and wonder we wanted for our child. We didn’t have to worry about doing hours of research this team is ahead on all the research - they source clean products of which several are made in Europe or North America. Everything we purchased has been utilized and they were so aware of Manhattan living and having maximum utility and beauty with all the items we purchased. Additionally, we have gifted newborn gift baskets to friends and they are always blown away how beautiful and wonderful all the items included. Thank you!

I normally don't write reviews however this was one of the best experience I've ever had due to the staff. I pre ordered all my stuff with them(coming from out of town), the knowledge and recommendations they had for me to be properly set up with our new UPPAbaby stroller and then to just walk in there with them having done all the work, assembling all and properly packaging everything, took such a great stress of my shoulders, it was truly priceless. I most definitely have to come back here to show the store to my wife, but also to meet the amazing people that run it.

We bought a stroller and they assembled it and held it for us until we were ready to pick it up. The store is busy at times so be patient and wait for someone to assist you. It’s worth it.

Such a cute store with lots of unique and beautiful items for little ones. In my visit I was able to find sweet gifts for two friends. Staff were also able to beautifully gift wrap my items.

Great little shop for all things baby/toddler. Strollers, cribs, beds, travel cribs, toys, and more. They only carry quality brands so you can feel confident with the products you are taking home. Friendly staff and warm environment. I was in and out for a quick purchase and appreciated the help out to my car with the large box. Will be back if I need anything else baby related!

We are so thankful for Jenn at Babesta!! It has been a rough few days traveling that came with some unexpected delays but Jenn was there to help us solve one of our situations easily! Unfortunately my baby hip carrier that I use all the time was left in the taxi. She was so kind to help us get exactly what we needed and even Uber it to our Airbnb before we have to travel again! I had a wonderful experience buying a stroller from this store. Not only I've experience a great customer service but it was the fastest shipping I've ever seen! The stroller was shipped in the next day I made the online purchase. I definitely recommend this store!

I had a very positive experience buying an Oeuf Perch twin bed from Babesta. The woman Hillari in the store was super helpful and then Aslan worked extra hard to make sure everything got to me on time. What an amazing place!!

Very nice store. Found items we could not find elsewhere, and we ordered something and they had it waiting for pickup. Friendly and helpful staff.

Customer service and variety of models on display are subpar. No one greeted me when I first entered the store despite there being a sales associate present and aware of my entrance. The store owner or manager (not sure which) seemed uninformed about some of her products, specifically car seats in my case. She also abandoned our conversation midstream to greet a friend and didn't return. The store did not have very popular models (e.g. the Uppababy Cruz or Bugaboo Bee5) to test drive at the time I was there. Because of these faults, I would recommend going to a buybuy BABY or other store with a wider selection of brands/models to view and where the staff is more knowledgeable and present.

I can't say enough good things about Babesta!! Jen, the owner, was super sweet and incredibly knowledgable!!! She went ABOVE AND BEYOND with helping us select a stroller and car seat that worked best for our family and made the whole process really easy during a stressful time (in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic). I highly recommend Babesta to all new (and old) parents and families!! We are so grateful for all her help and look forward to using all the baby gear with our little one! Thank you Jen and Babesta staff!!

Terrible service, completely non-plussed and clueless staff. Bought our babies bugaboo from here two months ago along with a crib. Ashley talked our ears off and tried selling all kinds of unnecessary accessories and add ons. When we actually got down to buying g the products she lost interest and was haranguing some new customers. Babesta does not seem family owned or small scale, they are very pushy to make the sale but once your about to buy they leave you to junior and incompetent staff who don't seem to know about the products in the least bit. I would recommend buy buy baby, the staff are much more genuine, gentle and actually care about your needs, not just about profit turn over. Spare yourself the extra research that you will have to do if you buy here and instead go to a store where you can be advised correctly. We are not happy with our bloom crib or with the hundred accessories sold to us.

After an awful ordeal at Giggle, my husband and I found ourselves at this trendy and friendly little shop downtown. After speaking with Ashley, we decided to create our baby registry there. We're so happy we did! I call way too much, and they never mind. In fact, they have been our go to for research on many newborn items from cribs to pacifiers. They even sent me information about a pacifier that they recommend, but don't carry. It's just the perfect place for your babies needs. Don't waste your time anywhere else!

I had been looking for a specific glider/recliner for my nursery. Babesta carried the floor model so I popped down to Tribeca and gave it a try. Everyone in the store was so nice and helpful. One of the sales associates clipped a bunch of fabric swatches for me to take home. After doing my online research, I decided to go back and purchase the chair. They took the time to answer all of my questions and explain the delivery timeline and expectations. They carry a lot of nice product lines. Plus, they have a bathroom : ) The only negative is that the delivery/shipping company was not the best. They offered a 1-6pm delivery window and showed up at 7:30pm!!! Fortunately my husband works from home. Regardless, he couldn't leave the house and the company did a poor job of communicating with him. Otherwise, it's great. My chair is comfy and looks great in the room.

I think it's important to acknowledge when a place has great customer service while often people post about the negative. As first time parents we had a lot of questions and the staff at the Warren st Babseta was awesome. We bought our stroller, car seat (they even had a rep to show me how to do it) - everyone is friendly and knowledgable - The delivery guy is super friendly and showed us how something works - all the way down to the delivery guy. Great place, and we plan to buy more items there as our kid grows.

This is the place to go in NYC to outfit your apartment for all things baby! The Babesta team are incredibly knowledgeable about their products and have a curated selection that fits the unique needs of us space-starved, taxi-riding, low-tolerance-for-imperfection New Yorkers. They also had some great recommendations for twin parents like us. Everyone at the store is friendly and helpful, but a special kudos to Stephanie who was our go-to expert on car seats, strollers, and many other baby necessities. Babesta has excellent service as well, helping us resolve a car seat issue and saving us a ton of time and phone calls to the manufacturer. I can't recommend them more highly!

Sent me the wrong color pillow for my monte glider and refused to attend to the mistake. Love my glider. Hate the service.

There is no better store than babesta! We order the nursery works vetro crib, monte glider, bugaboo chameleon, nuna pipa, nuna sena, bloom fresco highchair and the list goes on from them. The company that delivered the crib and put it together left stickers all over it. One phone call to the store and Aslan was over to fix it. My husband isn't very handy so when he put the bugaboo together it just wasn't right. Went to the store, they fixed it instantly. Same thing when we needed to lower the crib and one of the bolts was stripped. Aslan came over on a Sunday morning to help us! They have the best customer service and are always available to help. I can't say enough good things about them. I tell everyone I know that is having a baby to register and buy their items from them. We are so appreciative of everything they have done. They make being new clueless parents a little bit easier!!

Babesta is a great store, with a great selection and an amazing staff of really dedicated professionals. I can not say enough good stuff about them, Amanda, Stephanie and Aslain are knowledgeable, friendly and will stop at nothing to make sure get what you need as quickly as possible. I bought a Kalon Crib and dresser from them, they tried to warn me that Kalon takes forever, but throwing caution to the wind I ordered it any way, it turned out that Kalon was even more unreliable then I had expected. The staff at Babesta went all out in getting the shipment from Kalon to me, not only that, but to make up for Kalons mistake they shipped everything else I had ordered to me at no charge. Their prices are reasonable and they give a discount on large orders. Did I already say the the crew is amazing? DO order all your nursery furniture from Babesta, DO listen to there advice, they know there manufactures and the positives and negatives of all of them. DO NOT buy from Kalon, and if you do, buy it though Babesta, you will need them if you want the furniture to arrive before the baby.

Babesta offers tremendous customer service - I've bought an uppababy g-lite stroller about a year ago, and the buckle broke for some reason (after lots of use). Babesta helped me contact the company (when my requests to uppababy went ignored); they used their own supplier contact to help me with the issue, and Uppababy ended up sending me an entirely new stroller for free! It was definitely above expectations, and completely due to Babesta standing up for me. They are a solid neighborhood store, and I will continue to support them and give them additional buisness. Thank you Babesta!!

Babesta is a fantastic store with a superior level of customer service from the shop experience all the way through delivery. Upon requesting quotes, the sales rep was timely, patient and helpful. The time frame expectations were set from the point of sale and the times arrived as quoted. After delivery, I received a follow up phone call from the friendly staff. I look forward to working with them again on future projects.
