Baba au Rum

I went to 4 of the 5 Athens cocktail bars in the top 100 of the Best Bars list and this was probably the least exciting of the bunch. The cocktails were great but didn’t wow, the decor was oriental cool, but the service was average, both at the bar and by the waiting team. They seemed disinterested, there was no warmth.

Amazing cocktails! It was very crowded and chaotic, but those were some of the best cocktails we had in Athens. Highly recommend.

Excellent cocktails at a great price. Inventive, tasty and interesting. I went here twice while in Athens. Only downside was waitresses were not very friendly. Even if you sit at the bar you can’t talk to bartender, have to order thru waitress. Lastly waitress told me I could not order a cocktail that wasn’t on menu which seemed very odd for a bar of this caliber. I just wish service was at the same level as drinks.

Great atmosphere and nice location, however we expected better from an award winning bar. The service was very on and off, often being confused what was going on, and it took us about 2 hours to order 2 cocktails (it took us about 20 min max to drink it, so were left waiting a lot). The cocktails themselves were also just alright, although unique to an area like Athens, not unique in other ways. Overall a bit of a disappointment.

A must do when in Athens. Mixology at its finest. The waiters are extremely expert in helping you choose the right cocktail for each taste. Tables outside are very convenient to enjoy still some lovely weather

It is an award-winning cocktail bar in the heart of Athens, with tables inside and on the pedestrian street outside. The menu has many cocktail options, most of which are unique. The flavors of the cocktails are special, but they are served in small glasses and you definitely won't get enough of just one cocktail per person.

If you want to have a cocktails with someone and catchup, this place is a must. The music is nice and doesnt blast your ears, you can have a conversation with ease. The cocktails were special.
