We had dinner here on our last night in Malaysia and it was the perfect choice. The atmosphere was lovely (like having dinner in a rainforest), the service was attentive but not overwhelming, and the food was just delicious! Definitely recommend, especially if you're out near the airport.

We visited Aunty Aini’s Garden Cafe on a Sunday around 12pm. The food was okay, nothing extraordinary but not bad either. It’s average; something u might enjoy if u are not expecting too much. But I do like their Ikan Patin and Beef Bolognese though. The food arrived fairly quick, which was impressive. However, the staff mostly seemed a bit neutral; not rude but not particularly warm or welcoming either. The prices are on the higher side, so be prepared to spend a bit more compared to similar eateries but the place is undeniably beautiful, with a lovely garden setting that makes dining feel special. However, the outdoor concept can be a bit tricky if it rains, as it may disrupt the experience. We were lucky to arrive when it wasn’t too crowded, but by the time we finished eating, there was already a long queue outside. I do want to highlight one staff member; NIK, who truly went above and beyond in terms of service. Nik was exceptionally polite, kind and respectful, making our visit feel much more pleasant. It’s rare to find such thoughtful and attentive service and I believe Nik’s efforts deserve a special mention. Thank you Nik! Overall, if u are looking for a unique dining spot with a nice ambience and don’t mind spending a little extra, Aunty Aini’s Garden Cafe is worth trying.

Finally had the chance to stop by and eat today. I saw chendul highlighted on the menu in Maps, so I ordered a portion. Unfortunately, the taste was a bit off—the shaved ice was too coarse and overrated. Then I ordered the main dishes: kangkung belacan, which tasted pretty good; Asam pedas ikan merah—the fish was fresh but not sour and spicy enough; and gulai lemak cili api ayam, which was also decent. The three dishes and the dessert came to a total of RM80. And there were mosquitoes at this place too.

came for lunch. place was packed and we were seated in the rumah. ordered :- 1) 2 x Asam Pedas Ikan Jenahak @ RM 20.50 (isi) - appetizing and nice. 2) 2 x Sambal tumis petai @ RM 10.50 - spicy and flavorful 3) 2 x Rendang Ayam @ RM 21.00 - overly savory. flavorful 4) Kerabu Pucuk Paku @ RM 10.00 - ok 5) Sup Ekor @ RM 29.00 - okok 6) 2 x Sambal belacan & ulam @ RM 3.00 - ok 7) Gulai lemak cili api daging salai @ RM 18.00 - smoked beef overcooked. tough and dry. very smokey though. satisfied with the meal even though there are some hit and misses. it rained prior to our visit so the place was not hot but can be on sunny days. we were glad that there's no mozzies during our visit as this eatery is surrounded by plants and trees, lots of them. parking is available at an empty lot next to it, guarded by relas. just tell them you are dining at aini's and all is good.

We really loved the ambience of the place. The restaurant is surrounded by the greeneries of trees and plants, quite cooling. We arrived at 230pm and the place was packed and we Waited for 15mins b4 we got to sit and order. The food arrived after about 20mins wait. The food was ok, the gravy of masak lemak tempoyak ikan jenahak was thick & yummy, sambal sotong petai and kailan ikan masin was satisfactory and the water melon juice was sweet & refreshing. Would definitely come back and try other dishes.

The food was good altho the gulai lemak was not spicy enough. We add on more fried chicken (ayam kampung) because it was soo good. Loved the pucuk paku. Caution to wear something to avoid mosquito bites. But, the ambiance was nice, when we went it was not too hot. Also, take note of the opening hours because they close at 2:30pm before they re-open again for dinner.

Google
really great food but the portion is not too much so order enough for your party! the atmosphere was simply tantalising, the landscaper did a great job of making you feel like you’re eating in a private garden despite the shop being beside a main road. i’d say it’s tourist friendly as well due to having english menus. worth a revisit!

The food was absolutely delicious, and I'm so glad my mom enjoyed it too! She said it was just right for her taste. Service was a bit slow, maybe because it was busy, but overall, we had a great experience.

Yelp
Crowded a bit hard to get a seat due to the mco seating sop and getting the waiter/waiters to take your order can be frustrating as they placed is often packed to the rafters

Yelp
It is fortunate that I explored eateries outside the Klang Valley as I enter into the land of Nilai. Nilai town is a small town in Negeri Sembilan which is directly next to Sepang (well, I bet most of you know what's Sepang because of the famous F1 race track!). This small town lays a mouth-watering restaurant where this eatery will be able to trigger your taste bud to a whole new level. Food for thought - Gordon Ramsay (a famous chef from the UK) visited this restaurant before. The food was so good till no words could describe how mouth-watering it is. They serve traditional Malay and Western foods. I've tried their Lamb Shank, Grilled Chicken and Chicken Rendang before; I'm baffled. I'm baffled for the fact that I can't give a reason for not liking this eatery. Okay, let's be fair - I need to say a few downsides here. One of it would be the pricing of these foods as they are above average and another one would be the fact that there are lots of mosquitos here (because of the tropical and jungle like settings). Other than that, this restaurant is the highlight! I'm willing to travel to Nilai just to have meals here. No questions asked.

Yelp
I went here on a Sunday for lunch. Immediately I was amazed with the relaxed outdoor style of the building. The whole restaurant was situated in what seems like an authentic Malaysian courtyard. Upon entering the stone steps and through the wooden gate, you are greeted by a walled fountain. There was lots of greenery and water trickling that made you feel like you were part of nature. I was there with a local who ordered all the food so I cannot tell you specifically about what dishes we had, but a lot of them were flavorful and curry-like, and some actually quite spicy. We also had a beef bone soup, which was a flavorful light broth that tasted a lot like some of the other asian beef-bone broths, very good. Apart from Malay dishes, they also had a whole range of western dishes for those tourists the were feeling a bit homesick or unaccustomed to the Malay/ Asian flavors. Overall it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend! It felt like an authentic local experience without having to sacrifice comfort and ambiance.

Yelp
Fantastic chicken chops! Errr...why it feels like eating in a jungle? Because it is!! Delicious local food ala Negeri Sembilan masak lemak (dishes cooked with santan and tumeric) dominates the menu. There are mosquitos flying around your legs if you visit this place at night and they only stop attacking you after the owner lights up the mosquito repellant... what do you expect? A hotel buffet table with aircondition? This is the place to relax your mind... err i take it back. You cant do that here because this place is always packed. Day and night...
