Ascend Amphitheater

My first time at Ascend did not disappoint. The venue was easy to navigate. And, while we paid for a VIP package to get amazing seats, it didn't look like there was a bad seat in the house. I couldn't say about parking because my husband dropped us off, and when we left, we walked a couple of blocks, and he picked us up, which was quick and easy with no waiting in traffic.

Getting in took no time at all, it felt like it was going to be a little bit, but the line moved super quick, especially when people realized there was more than one spot to enter. My wife and I bought regular seats just before the private vip tables and grass seating. The chairs were extremely comfortable for padded folding chairs. The stage is really large, full of lights and the sound was awesome! We brought two sealed water bottles so we didn't buy food or drinks, and I can't comment on how any of it was or how long it took to get. It seemed like the concession lines were a pretty long wait based on how long people would leave and come back with drinks and/or food. Definitely recommend catching a show here if you can!

We went to see CREED! We purchased Pit tickets along with the Fast Lane passes and the VIP Club. We did not wait in line and we had access to a private area with a bar. Great concert experience!

Great Nashville Venue ~ quick corner parking ( although lot owner price gouging $55.00) *not an Ascend lot! The seats were great, the Bar servers awesome, bathrooms clean, Plenty of Security. Watching Tedeschi Trucks Band under the Stars surprising my Husband kicking off His 60th BDay celebration with a Band that was instrumental in His music career, doesn't get any better! Definitely a 5 NOTE Rating 🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶

We really enjoyed this venue to see one of our favorite bands. It is a manageable size with short lines and walking distance to hotels and nightlife.

Had a really great time. The rules are a bit over the top, so be prepared. Concessions aren’t that great and pricey. Had a really great time, though watching Pink Floyd in Symphony. They let us in a half half hour later than what they said online. The security guards are taking forever to check the bags. Kind of silly that they turn people away who bring a low profile chair just so they can make you rent one of theirs. Can’t get a hold of anybody on the phone to ask or confirm information. If you sit on the lawn, even if you’re in the front, they let people walk down the walkway during the show so you’re constantly interrupted by people walking back-and-forth. Should have people walk around the back. People were walking back-and-forth constantly throughout the show, really annoying and shocking that they would allow that. The sound is very good, and I love that they have the giant screen so you can see what’s on the stage better. The cameraman and the sound booth staff are doing a great job.

It was a nice outdoor venue. Music quality was great and easy to hear. Would have been nice if they had bigger or more screens to view the performers from a distance.

Excellent Venue near the Cumberland River and in the Heart of Nashville's tourist district. The venue is well-planned! The seats are large & comfortable with LOTS of leg room. There's no need to stand when someone else needs to enter or exit the row. There's really no "bad seats" - even the "grass seats" where you bring your own blanket or lawn chair has a clear view of the stage. We were lucky enough to get center stage tickets 10 rows back & we could see the artists very clearly. The sound system is amazing! The two jumbo trons are an added bonus, but certainly not necessary. Merchandise is located in the back of the venue, so its out of the way & convenient to queue. There's Bathrooms at the back & sides of the seating area, and we experienced NO waiting. Very unusual for a venue this large & a pleasant surprise. There's multiple food & drink vending stations - and there's very little wait time. The staff members were courteous, helpful, and oh so friendly! Even the ladies serving fountain drinks were divine! Tips: *Bring a clear backpack OR a very small clutch - otherwise you'll need to go thru a second security step to have your small bag searched. There's no large bags allowed. *This is a CASHLESS VENUE, so bring a credit or debit card -- or a buddy who has one who'll treat ya! 😉😎🎸🤘😂
