One of my favorite used bookstores in Chicago, if not the country! So adorable and cozy inside and full of interesting and unique photos, trinkets, old records, and of course the used books. There are all kinds of books of varying genres and a cozy area to read as well.

visited here today with my friends for the first time in forever, reminded me of how much i enjoyed it before! amazing shop with a ton of interesting books & other small misc items for sale. prices are pretty fair and the guy at the front is super nice!

I’ve been visiting this bookstore since 2019. It’s such an intimate setting that allows you to peacefully peruse through the isle for your favorite reads. The store is divided into themes and authors and the book prices vary from hardcover (obviously) to more popular reads. Regardless, it’s a good buy and I got some great reads so far for as low as four bucks. This has been my favorite bookstore to visit in Illinois; that goes without saying I’ll be returning.

One of the prettiest bookstores I've been to in Chicago! I really enjoy the old furniture and paintings on the wall. Definitely a good spot to enjoy some "lost in the book" magical vibes.

I stopped in here coming back from Columbia Beach. What a gem. It's a tiny shop, but they make great use of the space. Don't let the size fool you. It's a tiny little maze of bookshelves. There are a couple of places to sit and read, not many. But definitely a really cool vibe. Close to some shops and restaurants. Definitely worth a visit if you want a cool bookstore and not just the cookie cutter big box bookstores.

Was visiting a friend who works in the neighborhood and decided to stop by and just look around. Asked the guy working for a book suggestion and told him what general vibe I was looking for. He immediately got up and started looking through the shelves to see if they had anything he'd recommend. Unfortunately, they had sold out of all of his first choices, but he suggested a book that has been on my too read list for a long time, so I ended up leaving with that. He was friendly and the store itself has an energy that made me feel right at home. 10/10 would definitely come again if I'm ever backing the neighborhood.

What a used bookstore should be: piles of books covering every surface, fair prices, obscure and hard to find items along side forgotten gems (and not fifty copies of best sellers choking the shelves). Tasteful selection of gifts and knick knacks that doesn't take away from the glory of the page. Before you go: Pack light! Certain nooks and crannies can get a bit claustrophobic, and a full backpack will inevitably knock stuff over and block the isles for you and other customers.
