Alamo Drafthouse is the ultimate Brooklyn movie spot where you can kick back with comfy seats, craft cocktails, and creative bites—all while catching the latest flick.
"“Alamo Drafthouse is great. Shoutout Alamo Drafthouse. One time they accidentally glutened me, which was really, really bad, so they gave me a free movie ticket, which is awesome customer service. I don't usually eat there just because I have so many dietary restrictions, but when I do, I get those fricking loaded fries. Oh my god, what a guilty pleasure. It's got green chile verde with spicy queso and bacon. It's so good. It's amazing. I always worry I'm doing too much looking down and not looking at the movie. But I'll shout out their milkshakes, which I also can't have anymore. I know they have a churro popcorn, which will ruin you. I think they also do a churro shake. Sometimes my fiancé will get a boozy one, which is very fun for the over 21s.”" - brennan carley
"After lunch, I was late to meet Megan for a movie date at Alamo Drafthouse to see Black Widow. We preordered popcorn and a large Diet Coke, and after a few nibbles, I was knocked out. The combination of the late night and early morning made the movie a perfect time to take a quick nap."
"Theaters in NYC like Nitehawk and Alamo Drafthouse have already been doing this for years." - Luke Fortney
"Uber-popular dine-in movie theater Alamo Drafthouse is nearly doubling in size. A whopping 25,000 more square feet — which will nearly double its current size — will soon house nine new theaters, more restrooms, and a bigger lobby. The movie theater chain, known for serving food and drinks to seats, opened there in 2016, and has been packed ever since. They’re taking over space that’s currently home to department store Century 21, and construction will start this fall for 2020 debut. That’s in addition to a new location on the way to Manhattan’s Financial District." - Stefanie Tuder
"Alamo Drafthouse made its highly anticipated NYC debut in the City Point complex in Downtown Brooklyn in October 2016. The Brooklyn space features House Of Wax, a bar on the first floor with more than 30 beers on tap, cocktails, and decor resembling a museum of horrors. The location offers staple items and location-specific dishes like miso-glazed cod and 'M train' pizza." - Kayla Kumari Upadhyaya
