Jeonggwanjang Spa, Gangnam-gu

Probably one of the best treatments I’ve ever had. We got the 150min. full body + facial service and it was so worth it! Facilities are super clean and well-maintained, everyone there was very nice and friendly (they also spoke English very well), and they all knew what they were doing! Massage techniques were over the top. They served us tea before & after the treatment, too. The snacks were also good! 😋 I am so happy I found this place. It’s also very easy to find and near the station. 😊 Will definitely come back when we return to Seoul. Thank you, Spa 1899!

I was visiting my daughter in SK and we decided to go to the spa together. She handled the reservations. When we got there they gave us tea and a questionnaire. We took a shower first and they gave us bathing suits so we could get in the jacuzzi. I am a size 18/20 US and they assured me the suit would fit and it did. They put red ginseng in the hot tub and gave us cold plum juice which was wonderful. After our time in the jacuzzi we went to our respective rooms. I got a full body massage with a facial. The whole thing from start to finish was awesome! Very different experience from anything I've done here in the states. They were professional and thorough! We finished up with another tea and went on with our day. I was very pleased with the service. They paired me with someone who spoke English too. I highly recommend 1899 to anyone considering them.

We really enjoyed our experience at Spa 1899! We did the fulfilling head, body, facial, and foot package and it was super relaxing and the services were all so nice. The products smelled wonderful and we enjoyed the foot soak and teas at the beginning.

I was sceptic at first by my daughter wanted to go. I went for a facial massage. Boy, I was not disappointed. It was amazing! 11/10. Truly an amazing experience. Very warm welcome. No pushing to upsell it anything. If you have the chance, don’t hesitate. You will not regret it.

It was my first time experiencing such a service. I clearly made a reservation a whole month in advance and even have email confirmations to prove it. However, when I arrived, I was told that they didn’t have my booking. I’m very disappointed. I even stayed at the nearby Park Hyatt hotel for this.

Love this Spa! Always provides high quality relaxing service. I got a massage done here for the first time the other day it was so wonderful. Facials and scalp care is great too! They also provide tea before and after treatmente so make sure you allow enough time to savour the tea!
