All is so good, don't miss out on this wee gem hidden a few steps from the centre of town, a perfect spot to stop on the way to the gondola. Fresh, local produce served in varied delicious forms! It is very busy as all these good places are, but staff will do their best to seat everybody within a reasonable time frame. This place is seriously awesome."

"The Barn, Queenstown by makebardo. Check this place out if you're looking for a gift. There's something for everyone at The Barn. Set in an old barn and shearing shed just 2 mins from Frankton there's an eclectic mix of new and old. They also has a great outdoor play area for kids."

"The World Bar, Queenstown by makebardo. It's a place that has a famous warm and cosy beer garden, a giant open roaring fire and is a well loved hangout spot for locals, travellers and friends alike. Great vibe, good food and really lovely staff. You can go there for lunch, afternoon drinks or for the live music and DJ sets. Do not miss the teapots drinks!"

"Sherwood, Queenstown by makebardo. This place is other of our favourites in Queenstown. Located a 30-40 min walk from town, Sherwood is a vibrant and well thought out accommodation. They have a very eco and 'green' approach. The bar/restaurant has a lovely vibe in the evening and food is always great. Very modern and laid back."

"Patagonia Chocolates, Queenstown by makebardo. Patagonia has the best ice creams in Queenstown. They are fresh, creamy and smooth. Also you can enjoy of a range of chocolates, hot chocolates, churros, cakes, etc. An additional bonus of this branch is that you get to enjoy the incredibles sweets with a good view of the lake. Without a doubt, this is top of the range ice creams made with top quality ingredients."

"The Empanada Kitchen, Queenstown by makebardo. This is a great and healthy takeaway snack. Located by a nice open area of grass by the wharf, plenty of area to sit and watch the lake as you eat a yummy pastry, full of flavour. Do not miss out on trying the selection of sauces originally made by them. It is important to know that the flavours change each day!"

"Vudu Cafe & Larder, Queenstown by makebardo. Located in the heart of Queenstown, this cafe is a cute little spot for breakfast, brunch, lunch and a snack. The food is simply great. The carrot cake is insane and they prepare a really good coffee. Everything is so beautifully presented and lovingly crafted, healthy and cruelty free."

"Raeward Fresh, Queenstown by makebardo. It is a great deli and market just slightly on the outskirts of Queenstown CBD. You can buy there a selection of the best local products and you can also find a large selection of gluten free and other intolerance specific products. There's a few seating to have a good coffee and they also sell fresh and tasty sandwiches, wraps and salads. A cosy homely place."
