Canadian restaurant · Trinity Bellwoods

Visitors to Union can expect a luxurious and inviting atmosphere, showcased in the dark woods and leather seating, with a menu that is sure to please any brunch enthusiast. On a recent visit, Union delivered quite the gastronomic experience with a wide selection of fresh flavours. The Pork Shoulder Hash, stewed Apple Pancakes, Union Breakfast Sandwich, a side of Fries and the delectable Sticky Ginger Cake, were all cooked to perfection by the chefs.

The Ace

Eclectic restaurant · Old Toronto

The Ace is a beautiful restaurant with a friendly atmosphere and delicious food. With their brunch menu full of fresh and unique options, it is the perfect spot for a leisurely meal - and even better when shared with friends. I recently visited The Ace with a group of five people and everyone was pleased with the quality. Whether it was the Torched Mackerel special, the Brussels Sprouts dish, Fried Chicken, or the Sticky Toffee Pudding, there was no shortage of flavor and tantalizing aromas. Thanks to the friendly and helpful staff, it was easy for us to get the advice we needed. The Ace has something for everyone.

Kitchen On Sixth

Restaurant · New Toronto

Visiting Kitchen On Sixth for brunch is nothing short of a pleasure – lineups out the door after 10:30am are the norm and show the appeal of this restaurant. On a Tuesday morning, I was lucky enough to beat the line and had the pleasure of enjoying a truly fantastic brunch. The service we received was excellent – the staff were attentive, friendly, and accommodating as we settled into an intimate table and settled down to peruse the mouthwatering brunch menu. We both opted for the eggs Benedict – added some delightful saucy additions and side greens while I chose to enjoy it sans any extras.

Sisters & Co

Brunch restaurant · Trinity Bellwoods

Visiting Sisters & Co is like entering a restaurant oasis on Queen Street. The cafe is small and cosy, packed with a warm inviting atmosphere. Despite getting there shortly before they were about to close, the incredibly friendly staff managed to squeeze us in and make us feel right at home. The drinks menu includes delicious mimosas and earl grey tea- perfect accompaniments to any brunch. For food we tried the renowned avocado toast, and it did not disappoint! The thinly sliced, lightly toasted bread and creamy avo was complemented perfectly by the crispy home fries- the highlight of the meal. We also opted for their drip coffee, a great way to start your day.

SIMPL THINGS

Snack bar · South Parkdale

The ambiance is warm and inviting when you enter Simpl Things in the evening, greeted by the always-smiling chefs in the kitchen. The cocktails are nothing short of sensational, and the espresso martini that always gets praised among friends is one of the best in the city. Chef Betty's food has Asian flavors created with a sophisticated French technique. For brunch, their Pasta Cartl feature is definitely a must-try, allowing you to reserve a table for weekend brunch. The portions are generous, starting with two delicious fish croquetas for only $9. The tagliolini, at $19, is brimming with flavor, rarely allowing the aromatics of the ingredients to be overpowered by one another.

thairoomgrand etobicoke

Restaurant · Islington-City Centre West

Visiting ThaiRoom Grand Etobicoke is a delicious and welcoming experience. The restaurant is simply light and inviting. The comfort and elegance of the space complements the array of menu offerings they provide. Brunch is quickly becoming a new favorite as the Thai cuisine provides guests with an array of flavorful options. Start off with the fresh rolls and calamari. Light, crisp batter is perfectly cooked to offer an enjoyable crunch with every bite. The mango sticky rice is a must-have. At ThaiRoom, the portion is more than enough and the presentation is stunning, with mango slices gracing the top of the plate. The flavoring is simply divine and sure to satisfy your cravings.

Milou

Bistro · Beaconsfield

Love Street is a restaurant in the city that has garnered a lot of positive attention for its creative cocktails and high-class atmosphere. Tastefully decorated, this eatery is sure to offer the perfect ambience for any setting. The Scotty Doesn't Know and Behave Yourself drinks are some of the best and most consistently made cocktails in town, especially their signature Espresso Martini. Even ordering the “Dealer's Choice” from their bar staff is a great option, as their expansive knowledge will take your taste buds on an exquisite journey. The service is top-notch at Love Street, with the friendly staff always willing to please.
