"Coming back in some form under Jester Concepts, the company behind Borough, Parlour, PS Steak, Monello and more, Butcher & the Boar will be revived with its meat-, smoke- and bourbon-focused culture; the company is searching for a new location (the public has suggested several formerly dark restaurant addresses), and some of the classic dishes will return. Opened to immediate acclaim in 2012 with a menu built by chef Jack Riebel, the restaurant continued after Riebel's departure following a split with his two business partners and operated for eight years with a popular year‑round beer garden and smokey sausages that were also sold in area grocery stores before closing last year." - Joy Summers
