A place where locals eat - I was the only "English uncle" there. The food is really good, the portions are generous. The stuff does not speak English, but the menu is on the wall and Google Lens worked great. This place is quite busy with people in and out all the time but despite of that, surprisingly, it feels quiet. It can be quite tricky to find - follow that dark alley all the way to the end and you'll be rewarded.

Visited by lots of locals. The place is abit hard to find, once you are at a junction with Burger King opposite, turn left and you will see the sign board and you will have to walk through a lane to reach the restaurant. They have normal table and chairs seating and also traditional seating on floor with cushions. All the finding is worthwhile as the food is really delicious! There is no english menu but the restaurant lady is super friendly and tried her best to communicate and explain to us. I showed her the photos of food from google and managed to place our order. We wanted to order the beef,mushroom and king dumpling hotpot and noodles soup but I managed to understand with my bits n pieces of Korean learned from years of K-drama watching that she wanted to tell us it will be too much food for 3 of us. So we ordered only the hotpot (30k won), theres 6 huge king dumplings, many pieces of beef, mushrooms n plenty of kimchi and fish cake strips as side dishes. We were so full! My parents and I really enjoyed all the food!

You can experience North Korean style of mandu (dumplings) in very old house in the center of Seoul. I love to visit again

a local restaurant mostly preferred by seniors. quite old place with humble atmosphere. so if you are looking for something authentic, it is highly recommended to visit here, and I personally like food here.

AWESOME PLACE. DO NOT JUDGE FROM THE OUTLOOK OF THE RESTAURANT. IN SPITE OF THE DISCOMFORT OF NO OR LESS ENGLISH COMMUNICATION, JUST GO AND GET HELP FROM NEXT TABLE FOR YOUR CHOICE OF FOODS. WILL BE YOUR GREAT DINNER EVER.

Very casual and authentic - 3 generations, 35 years of service! Not for snobs

It tastes so good if you can feel atmosphere of Korean.
