"This sprawling 19th-century former gasworks complex west of the Canal Ring was a polluted site for decades after its closing in the mid-1960s. It was cleaned up and reopened in 2003 as a park, and its architecturally significant red-brick buildings were turned into cultural venues, restaurants, bars, nightclubs, and shops. The Gashouder, a massive circular structure measuring more than 27,000 square feet, hosts mainly techno parties, while the nearby North Sea Jazz Club is an intimate space for live jazz performances. You’ll also find TonTon Club, a restaurant and arcade with video games, air hockey, and table tennis; Pacific Parc, a café with live rock music and DJs; and a three-screen art-house cinema."

I visited Fabrique de la lumière for the Dali exposition. Well worth the visit. From the pink Floyd accompanying music to the stunning and almost overwhelming visuals. I highly recommend

This is a big city park, and this is where the neighbourfood event usually takes place. The event is a super pleasant experience with different vendors selling their items along with telling their unique story. The park is a nice setting for running, picnics, and such activities.

When the sun is shining, this is my spot in the West. Great park for chilling and picnicking etc. Awesome dog walking area too. Good coffee and food spots in the park. Loads of good festivals in the summer too.

Nice place, but we waited for a long time and no one came there, so I guess there was too many people in the venue at that time, but still. A little disappointment from my side.
