4.33/5 Our family of 4 decided to give ZANA a shot after a friend recommended it. We showed up during Happy Hour and I wish we had the ability to order the drink specials at an actual table instead of the lounge because the seating wasn't too comfortable. Don't get me wrong, the scenery is beautiful, but I care more about the practical aspects of a dining experience. Once we ordered our drinks, we made it to a table. If I could rate the food and only the food, I'd give a full 5 stars. Loved the grilled chicken that they accommodated for my pasta dish, beets with goat cheese was super flavorful, and the crispy caramel in the affogato was a nice touch for an already beautiful dessert. Everybody else loved the food as well. Overall, I recommend ZANA.

ZANA is so beautiful. Came here on Valentines Day night with my husband. Waiter was very nice and attentive, his name is Lawrence. Loved the atmosphere and the harp was an added bonus. The DJ came on around 10ish and she was great. Husband had scallops and he said it was ok. Received complimentary shrimp and he said it was kinda rubbery but seasoning was good. I had the rigatte alla vodka and it was an amazing! Pomegranate Tini was light & refreshing. Husband had an old fashioned with Tequila, he loved that so much he had 2! We will be back to try other dishes, really nice spot.

We visited for New Year’s Eve, and the experience was fantastic. The place itself was awesome, the staff were friendly, and our server was great. I ordered the Wagyu steak, and it was delicious. My mom got the short ribs, and my husband had the lamb chops. All the food was amazing and served in good portions. I usually don’t order tiramisu, but I took the risk and got it. It didn’t disappoint; the tiramisu was made perfectly. Among the gelatos, the pistachio was the best. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we will definitely be back again.

My husband and I had a lovely dinner at Zana to celebrate our anniversary. The ambience was incredible, the service outstanding and the food delicious. Our server Danika was very sweet and super attentive. We had kale and roasted beets and village salads as appetizers and cast iron roasted chicken and rigate vodka pasta. All four dishes had lots of flavor and beautiful presentation. We will definitely be back!

Was looking forward to try this newer spot in Birmingham. Atmosphere was very light/airy, perfect for a summer night out. Menu was proportioned well with options from pasta, to beef to fish and chicken. Great craft cocktails; not the best wine list though. They had two specials, one being tableside Tomahawk , enough to share with a few others. It was excellent!! Server was knowledgeable and attentive. We told them we were celebrating a birthday. Was surprised that they did not offer the birthday person some sort of dessert; especially with the hefty bill we had! In my opinion, this was a miss.

My hubby surprised me with coming here because our daughter's name is Zana. It turns into a nightclub. 10/10 it was an amazing experience from the top to the bottom. Dinner, dessert drinks, service. Over the top experience.

I tried Zana for dinner while my cousins were in town. We’re all foodies and like trying new restaurants. The drinks were very good. We ordered 2 appetizers recommended by our server - baked feta and harissa shrimp. Both were great. Then we ordered 2 salads to share - caesar and wedge. The caesar was bland and the wedge came out chopped with a lot of lemon flavor. It wasn’t your typical caesar or wedge and we didn’t love either. We ordered filet mignon, baked chicken and lobster ravioli’s to share - all were great! However, it took over 45 minutes between the salads and the entrees making it to our table. They reminded us both over the phone while making the reservation and when we arrived that we had a strict 2 hour time slot for dining. We were there 2-1/2 hrs by the time we finished dinner so we were not even interested in considering desert. It was a LONG dinner! The interior is very well designed, but it’s also like a club on Saturday nights. Our waitress really was awesome but considering the overall experience, not sure if I’d go back.
