Yummy Momo is an absolute gem in downtown Toronto! Their Tibetan and Asian fusion dishes are packed with flavor and made with so much care. The butter chicken momos were creamy and delicious, while the vegetarian tandoori momos had a perfect smoky flavor. I also loved the chilli paneer—just the right amount of spice—and the Szechuan chowmein was an explosion of bold, savory goodness. The prices are super reasonable, and the owners are incredibly warm and welcoming. It’s such a cozy spot that makes you feel right at home. If you’re a fan of authentic, flavorful food, you absolutely have to try this place. Highly recommend!

Rating: ★★★★★ In the heart of the city lies a hidden gem that transports you straight to the heart of Tibet with its authentic, cultural vibe and cozy ambiance - Yummy Momo. This quaint eatery offers a warm, inviting atmosphere that perfectly complements its deliciously unique menu. Dishes Ordered: Afgha Malai Chicken Momo (Steamed): ★★★★★ Steam Momo Chicken: ★★★★★ Butter Chicken Gravy Momo (Chicken): ★★★★★ Review: From the moment I stepped into Yummy Momo, I was greeted with a vibe that was unmistakably Tibetan – cultural, cozy, and incredibly welcoming. It set the stage for a dining experience that was not just about the food but also about the rich cultural immersion. Afgha Malai Chicken Momo (Steamed): My culinary journey began with the Afgha Malai Chicken Momo, a dish that was as delightful to the palate as it was intriguing. The momos were perfectly steamed, ensuring that every bite was filled with the succulent flavors of the chicken. What truly set this dish apart was the creamy, flavorful sauce it was served with, offering a unique taste experience that tantalized my taste buds. Steam Momo Chicken: Continuing with the steamed variety, the Steam Momo Chicken was another standout. The thin coating of the momo encased the tender chicken filling beautifully, ensuring that the flavors of the meat were the star. The momos were light and not at all overpowering, a testament to the skillful preparation and attention to detail. Butter Chicken Gravy Momo (Chicken): The Butter Chicken Gravy Momo was a delightful fusion that married the traditional flavors of butter chicken with the classic momo, and the result was nothing short of spectacular. The gravy was rich and flavorful, coating the momos in a velvety layer of spice and creaminess, making each bite a luxurious experience. Chilli Sauce: A special mention must go to their chilli sauce – a truly spicy accompaniment that added an exhilarating kick to the momos. It was the perfect partner to the dishes, enhancing their flavors and adding an extra layer of heat for those who love their food with a bit of a punch. Overall Experience: Dining at Yummy Momo was an experience that went beyond just eating. It was a journey through the flavors and traditions of Tibet, served up in a warm, inviting setting. The momos were not just food; they were a celebration of culture, craftsmanship, and culinary excellence. For anyone looking to experience authentic Tibetan cuisine at its best, Yummy Momo is a must-visit. Their unique flavors, cozy atmosphere, and friendly service make it a dining experience that's both memorable and mouthwateringly satisfying.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at yummy momo. I ordered some garlic bread as a starter, fried Momos as a main and tried salted tea for the first time. If your only reason for visiting is the garlic bread, I would not fault you, the bread tasted incredible, it was crunchy, and soft(yes, at the same time) and full of flavour 11/10. I did not enjoy the momo's as much, mainly cause the texture wasn't as enjoyable for my buds. The last thing I had was the salted tea, I did not enjoy that at all, but I was so glad i got to introduce my buds to something new! The service was excellent, the waitress was kind ad accommodating to our needs considering it was a novelty for my friend and I. I also like the atmosphere, it felt like the moment when i walked in, I forgot I was in Toronto,

Me and my partner love it here. It has free parking, the dishes are fresh and the taste is so good. We've never had this cuisine before moving to Toronto and now we're there almost every week. Yes, is that good. The staff is really friendly and accommodating regarding spice level, which I really appreciate. No credit card payment, that's fine by us.

I am ashamed to say that today was the first time walking into this building. I've lived in this hood for 20 years. I didn't go into previous restaurants located here and Yummy Momo was my first. It certainly won't be our last. The food was soooo good. I hope others discover and support this place. The fried beef chaat Momos were the high point but all the food was solid. Good pricing. We had a bottle of wine ($40) with our lunch. We over ordered and over ate. Thought we would take leftovers home but we stuffed ourselves and ate it all while we were there.

Our first time at Yummy Momo and they did not disappoint! Friendly service and great food. We had the chili fries, Szechuan noodles and assorted momos and everything tasted delicious. We got medium spice level and it was a good amount of spice. It felt like we were transported to Tibet. We will be back!

Ordered their butter chicken momos, absolutely delicious and so juicy! Tried their thenthuk, which I’ve never had before but it was lacking a bit of flavour. Good portion size though. However, their momos were great and would love to come back to try their fried ones as well.

Nice little Momo joint in Parkdale! The momos themselves were delicious, the sauce was good-but-not-lifechanging, the drinks were frosty, and the service was friendly and unobtrusive! Everything was very clean, and the restaurant itself smelled amazing.

Yelp
This is one of the biggest let down in 2023. After seeing all the raving reviews in Google maps, we thought we will make this place our NYE dinner date. The jhol momo was way too tangy. It was as though it was made with tomatillo tomatoes and not the usual tomatoes. There was no other flavor other than the tang in the jhol. We've had some of the best jhol in the US and in Canada and this was so disappointing. We eventually ate just the Momo's with the hot sauce which was also not the best hot sauce. The waitress was nice and took the feedback well. She said she'll convey it to the chef. The chow mein was the saving grace but the restaurant is so cold that in no time the chow mein got cold. Overall, it was a let down and I hope they can get their jhol right.

Yelp
This is a small place on Queen West. The interior sets the expectation that the food is going to be delicious. And boy, did they deliver! We had 3 dishes from their menu: the tandoori chowmein, chili tofu, and chili momos. All of them were delicious! We asked for medium spicy for our chili dishes and it was the perfect level of spice for us. Well flavored, big portions. The service was really fast and friendly as well.
