YAKITORI HACHIBEI

The foods were on the average side nothing too special and/or outstanding while the price was very high. Some dishes came very fast but some were very very slow. Staffs were nice and friendly. But they always tried to push me to order more than I really want. I had to tell them I wanted to try many dishes so just 2-3 skewers/type were more than enough for my group. The room was rather small but too noisy that my friends and I had to rise our voice to talk to each others. Overall, i think this place is overpriced and over rated. Too expensive for just an average (or even below average) experience. I don’t recommend this place at all.

highly recommended giving them a call before coming in cause they seem to be always fully occupied due to limited capacity. specialized in yakitori, means grilled chiken, but the other dishes in the menu are also good. i like: yakitori - grilled chicken (thighs or othe parts are also amazing), tsukune - chicken meatball with raw egg, salad, butabara - pork belly. they will not overwhelm you with the ready to eat skewer and try to bring them all on to you, but slowly one by one following your eating speed. you could enjoy the grilling show in front of you when booking a table at the bar.

If you are seeking a delectable grilled skewer, this establishment is highly recommended. The beef, chicken heart, and liver are must-try items. The grilled skewers are consistently excellent and pair perfectly with a cold beer or sake. It is ideal for group gatherings, but advance reservations are necessary due to limited seating.

Authentic Japanese restaurant. Food is really good! Limited seat so reservation is recommended. We orders almost all skewer in 2 portion. Also we have 4 drinks in total so it’s relatively higher expense than usual. But the food worth every penny you spent. For regular consumer, I believe 500,000 per head would be enough.

The yakitori here is truly fantastic! The taste is not greasy at all, and it’s incredibly delicious. Some skewers are grilled to a crispy perfection, with each bite bursting with flavor. It’s an unforgettable experience. Both the taste and texture are exceptional, making it definitely worth trying! Plus, we ordered a lot and it was so cheap. The service was also very friendly.

Fresh ingredients, so fresh food. Cool cozy & clean dining space upstairs. Pricey beer & beverage (Draft Sapporo 65k, Umeshu 80k). Got lucky to have 2 seats arranged on Monday eve. So book in advance.

One of the best Yakitori in HCMC, the 2nd branch is on rooftop with a scenic view. It’s a perfect place to chill with friends.

Fairly inexpensive skewers ranging from 30k to 55k per skewer. The meat was well cooked, but I find them to be on the salty side. Their yellow wasabi was really nice and add a nice touch to their meat. I personally like their asparagus wrapped in pork and their deep fried egg.
