I ordered kaya toast set and pandan cake.
Kaya set is okay but not pandan cake, the pandan cake is very dry. Not recommend!

Surprised the place is crowded on a Saturday 9am. Toast set is consistent across their branches and this outlet is also same. Coffee is slightly more diluted but ok for me. Overall nice place for breakfast.

Had breakfast here this morning — French Toast with Kaya jam at the side and Kopi C. The coffee is superb, aromatic and thick Nanyang style but mixed with evaporated milk. I love it. The French Thick Toast is coated with a generous amount of beaten eggs and nicely toasted till golden brown. Its so yummy eaten on its own or slightly dipped in the kaya jam provided at the side. A comfortable place for breakfast — nice food & coffee and its not too crowded. Strongly recommended for breakfast.
Revisited here on 24 May 2024. Have not returned until this morning for breakfast. The food and drinks are still good but the price has gone up from $4.60 to $5.40 for peanut toast and kopi C kosong. Killiney at B2 seems to offer better value for money.
Revisited on 17 June 24. Had butter sugar toast and coffee. Butter is overloaded. Should have used less butter, less wastage.
Revisited on 20 Jan 25. Had Rendang chicken Toastwich. Wow… its not chicken cubes, it’s a whole chunk of chicken meat. Delicious! Will definitely return for this.

We got a recommendation from a taxi driver to visit this place for kaya toast. Although it was a good experience, we could tell
It wasn’t the best one. We loved their kayo toast, but since it is a popular franchise, the quality and atmosphere differs slightly depending on which branch you visit. We would recommend you visit ones that are outside of the mall for a better experience.

Lousy tea quality for $3.20. The poor barista is rushing while the rest of staff is chit chatting. Won't patron them again, wasted money. Any other coffee shop gives a thicker tea than this.

Yakun Kaya Toast in Plaza Singapura is a beloved spot among locals, renowned for its traditional Singaporean breakfast offerings like kaya toast, soft-boiled eggs, and aromatic coffee. Its consistent quality and nostalgic flavours make it a perennial favorite for both quick bites and leisurely meet-ups.
Also people watching.

I like this place. Not jammed with "funnay" people. And the Black Coffee is so good! Tonight, the staff seems to be more extra nice. AMAZING!

Yum. Really miss the coffee and tea here. Definitely different coffee beans and tea leaves.
And the butter kaya (eggs and coconut milk) toast is a must to try.
This is one of the toast chain in Singapore but definitely one of the best
