The menu is a familiar mix of traditional Irish and American bar food. We opted for the veggie burgers which came with a side dip of mild curry sauce — a nice touch slightly to the left of ordinary. "Woodbines is a neighborhood bar with great cocktails, and an afternoon drinking on their front patio would be an afternoon well spent. But drinks are only half the picture here, and you should absolutely explore the long menu of bar food as well. It ranges from Irish sausage rolls and curry fries, to short rib spring rolls and a lamb burger with goat cheese, all of which is available daily from 11am-10pm." - matt tervooren

"Woodbine’s is a pub, but it’s nicer, cleaner, and a little more West Elm-y than the usual place where you play darts and drink Guinness. It’s open all day, they serve a full dinner menu, and they also have live music sometimes. Plus, it’s nice enough for a date (you can grab a table in the back), and it’s a good spot to hang out and eat a burger if you ever find yourself in Long Island City." - Bryan Kim
