The owner is a very sweet and kind person, but don't mix it with weakness. He runs a hostel as a serious business and professionalism shows in the amazing service! The hostel is perfect, small compact but so comfortable. Towels, locks, slippers, and breakfast are just top notch! The crowd staying there is very fun, but not loud and disrespectful. Mainly young professionals, can meet amazing people. The pod is very comfortable and spacious! The chill area is very huge and just stunning. The location is prestigious! Central, close to everything!

Woodah Boutique Hostels will always hold a special place in my heart as my first home in Copenhagen. Those summer mornings with ABBA music made waking up a joy. Mikkel and Gabriel are incredible hosts, always engaging in great conversations. This place is a true treasure, and it's where my love story started. Now, I'm married to a Danish guy! If you're looking for a place to begin your journey, this is it!

Great Hostel in a central Location. The owner Gabriel couldn’t do enough for his guests. He's personable and cares about his guests stay in a city he clearly loves. I’ve honestly never had such good service from a hostel before!

So friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Gabriel was so nice and helpful. It is really recommended to take suggestions from him about places to visit and to eat. Breakfast was great and those who served it was always on their best behaviour. Interior is superb and hostel is at a great location near to the central station with a Lidl near by (incase you are on a budget). Hostel was always clean. Only felt heating was bit low. Overall I had a great stay.

Lovely time spent at the hostel. The hostel is very clean, Michael is so friendly and helpful. The bike rental is very cool when it’s not raining, the best way to visit the city in my opinion. At night, the hostel is calm because of its size. The price is very attractive considering the location, the tasty breakfast and cleanliness.

Very nice small hostel with incredibly friendly owners and perfectly workable amenities - I can recommend it to people travelling light or just visiting for a few days. The breakfasts are also nice and super fresh!

Overall the Woodah hostel isn’t bad, but there are some things that you should know before staying here. The pros of this hostel are the easy check in process, free breakfast and semi private beds. Also, it has a nice shared private green space if you are in the back rooms and are adventurous enough to climb out the window. As for the cons: In my experience the hostel wasn’t very social, as the hostel lacks a common room after 7 PM, instead all you get are two sofas that are pretty uncomfortable. Additionally, there wasn’t a fridge, microwave or stove if you wanted to eat in. Furthermore, you could hear the bedroom door open and closing multiple times throughout the night. In addition, after check out there wasn’t any secure place to store your bag. Finally, the hostel shared only had two stalls of toilets and showers across 24 guests, after reception closed. Overall, I didn’t have a bad time here but I definitely don’t think it’s a boutique hostel. But, I might say here again if I decide to come back to Copenhagen.

The Woodah hostel was in a great location, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The complimentary breakfasts were simple but good and convenient. However, it isn't that quiet of a space within the hostel at night. There was a decent amount of noise through the night from other guests, with doors slamming and the bathroom door staying open where we heard everything. The beds while long are pretty narrow and the curtain didn't feel private enough for me. It's a good choice for 1-2 nights if you don't mind the lack of privacy/space.
