Went for brunch over the weekend and loved it. The place is cozy with limited space between tables, so I ended up sitting at the bar. It’s unique to find such a cool spot this close to downtown! I ordered the chorizo skillet, and despite the small kitchen with just two chefs, the food came out quickly—and it was delicious. Can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu!

An industrial neighbourhood close to downtown Victoria offers a unique place for beverages and simple meals. Sandwiches are truly excellent. Closed Mondays, Wheelies is open 11 am to 5 pm, except on Fridays when closing time is 9 pm. Saturday and Sunday the restaurant offers a brunch menu not available on other days. Lots of interesting decorations and a small clothing shop with shirts, hats and other items. Outside seating is available. We had breakfast at the Empress Hotel that day. Lunch at Wheelies was better.

Have to love this place for weekend brunch. We always get the Caesar special and I usually order the Chorizo hash to go with it. Really well made and great flavour. I understand they also have wild events but I have only ever gone for brunch. Visiting is good any time of year, but I especially like the summer when you can hang on the patio.

I can’t recommend this place enough. The service is always consistently above and beyond, The food is miles past phenomenal, the drinks are deviously delicious and the merch is straight sex. Do your self a favour and come here!

From the moment you step into Wheelies, you’re welcomed with an energy that immediately puts you at ease. The staff here don’t just greet you—they make you feel like you’ve arrived at a place where everyone knows your name, even if it’s your first visit. Their approach feels more like being invited into a home rather than just another dining experience. It’s a rare thing to feel so instantly comfortable in a restaurant, but Wheelies does it effortlessly. Every interaction is accompanied by a friendly, down-to-earth attitude that creates a relaxed atmosphere. Whether it’s a casual chat about the specials or what the hell did you get up to last night….or making sure your drink is always full…..you never feel like a customer in a transactional sense—you feel like a guest in an old friends pad. *side note- best shafts in town.

These people brought free sandwiches to the striking postal workers. The sandwiches were really good and we wanted to patronize them so we went for a Saturday brunch and had the Chorizo skillet. Delicious. Can't wait to go back. Highly recommended.

We have been coming to Wheelies for years, almost every Sunday, and it feels like home. Everyone who works there, you can tell loves their jobs as well as the community surrounding it. Best food and drinks in town, hands down.
