Westville is your go-to American spot for cozy comfort food, especially if you love veggie-centric dishes and a relaxed vibe perfect for families.
"Whenever we’re downtown, we always end up at Westville. Caesar salad and turkey burgers are my kid's favorites, and I love the Asian Chopped Salad and the vegetable-centric Market Plate. My kids love the Color Factory nearby, so a special weekend outing involves a Color Factory visit and then lunch at Westville. It always satisfies adults and kids so it’s truly become our go-to family spot." - brennan carley
"In the last few years, Westvilles have popped up all over Manhattan, which is probably a good thing since the original West Village outpost was way too tiny. You’ll find every variation of comfort food, from mac and cheese to the hot dogs that made them famous. Beyond myriad toppings and preparations, they offer vegan dogs, too. The South Village outpost is very close to the Children’s Museum of the Arts, and there are also locations in Chelsea near the Highline, and in the East Village."
"Hudson Square: More than half a dozen bars, restaurants and cafes are participating in the Hudson Square Business Improvement District’s Halloween special which runs from now through October 31." - Eater Staff
