Stopped in for lunch. Sawan was our exceptional server; very knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations - he is a professional in his field. Laura is knowledgeable about wine and made excellent pairing recommendations. Exceptional food and service - highly recommend!

We had the wine package. Right upon checking in until we left, the service was exquisite. Laura and her team made us feel very welcome. The food and wine pairing was excellent. The team was very knowledgeable about the wines in the Saar region and provided wonderful recommendations. Will definitely return.

We had an extraordinary four course dinner with an exquisite wine from Peter Lauer, 2022 Fass #21. When we vacation in this area we always reserve an evening for a meal here! Tonight was the third year in a row and it was heavenly! Along with the excellent food the service was very friendly and competent!

Amazing restaurant with caring staff and great wines. Absolutely must go for all Gourmet and wine lovers. Also a great place to go with kids in the summer as they have a beautiful garden

Great hotel well located for winery visits, cycling and walking tours. Rooms are high quality. We were in the dépendance, first floor street side and it was a little noisy with street noise (tractors! church bells!) but nothing we lost sleep over. Excellent beds and pillows. Modern roomy shower. Restaurant serves modern and traditional with Vega options if I remember correctly. The meals are prepared with obvious skill and care. Staff are friendly and caring. Wine selection is excellent as one would expect. Weingut Peter Lauer is adjacent and their wines are definitely worth trying. We really enjoyed our stay and would book again.

Lovely family run restaurant and small hotel. Our table was in the garden surrounded by oleanders. The always take the menu option as we find great value for money with the wine pairing. The chef takes an innovative approach to the dishes without being too outlandish, which makes for a good tasting experience. One can have a discussion about the wine proposed for pairing as well, which I find interesting. Have been and will be coming back!

Being interested in wine, this hotel appealed. The bedrooms are clean and v ery comfortable, not luxury, but neither are they expensive. The restaurant however is particularly good (not difficult to spend more there than on the bedroom) - with high quality food, served with care and attention - at a leisurely pace. Wines are from the owner, and those we tried with the set menu were all excellent, even the novel recommendation of white wine with beef! The breakfast table is particularly good quality with a wide and diverse choice.||Before leaving you can call in the adjacent weinothek to buy the owners' wine.||The wider area has scenic appeal, the village is pleasant and the interesting city of Trier is an easy drive away.

We stayed here for 4 nights in June, they hotel is absolutely lovely, lots of arty touches and beautifully decorated. The rooms are clean and comfortable, we had a large bathroom with an excellent shower and a small balcony that overlooked the vineyards.||The real highlight was the food, it was absolutely fantastic. The restaurant is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays but the other two nights we stayed there more than made up for it, it really was outstanding.||Nothing is too much trouble for the two lovely hosts and the vineyard next door produces absolutely first class wines.||This was a really memorable stay and we will return. It was also fantastic value for money. Very good spot for touring nearby Saarburg, Konz and Luxemborg
