Next time I visit, I'll find a place to sit with a better background (probably on the side of the main road which is lined by murals) and take more shots like this. I'd also buy a basket if I could find a way to carry it home..."

Super crowded, lots of bargaining and cheap. This is a good place to shop over the weekend if you’re in Hanoi. You will have to haggle quite a bit if you want a good deal. You must also take some time to pick and choose what you like to buy. It’s overall a fun experience.

This is a really cool market to walk around especially on weekends it's so busy with locals and tourists. Look for the hotpot food stall on the corner it is amazing food. Also the meet on stick bbq stalls are nice. There is plenty of shopping to be done too and it goes along way this market.

Weekend night market alone the street. City closes the street from Friday evening till Sunday. Lots of street vendors selling all kinds of stuff like clothes, socks, slippers, chopsticks handy crafts, etc. This spans a few streets, the Main Street you can walk straight down and cross 3 junctions till the end. The adjust street there is Xmas wholesalers and another where all the pubs and food outlets are. Very happening place over the weekend.

2 years after COVID-19 pandemic, the tourism industry in Hanoi has not yet been recovered. The streets around night market are with alomost no tourists. The shops are quiet and the sellers look bored 😴

A good place for shopping over the weekend. Open on Friday to Sunday at night and has lot of stalls on the road. The car traffic is banned during the market time and it becomes a walking street. Good bargain market and you can buy stuff like clothing, gifts, accessories, purse, handbags, keychains, toys, wooden items, Vietnamese hats, ice creams, local snacks l, fruits and much more. A must go it you are in Hanoi and it's a weekend.
