Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel

If you are in Sydney you can't go past a return ferry trip to Watson's Bay and a dinning experience at this wonderful venue. Try a book an outside waterview table, relax and enjoy an amazing meal from the extensive menu whilst enjoying memorable harbour views. A great selection of drinks on offer including cocktails which are sure to please.

Bar staff and waiting staff friendly, happy and prompt. Tables and floor were, however, really dirty. Bits of food and used napkins all over floors. Tables were sticky with spilled drinks and remnants of food, which encourages birds to attend the tables and floors. I had to grab a cleaning cloth and spray bottle to clean my table but the cloths were dirty and so I had to follow up by using water and napkins from, however, the tables were still sticky.

Watsons bay hotel!!! What amazing venue!! The staff to the one in the khaki shirt and the amazing Minnie. What amazing venue. We were here for the nurses birthdays. Minnie was great at making sure we all had a drink and an amazing meal. We love the staff. Will come here again thanks Minnie

We were at Watsons Bay Boutique on New Year's Eve, but we were really disappointed. We paid 200 dollars for a ticket, and you expect a certain level of service for that. Ordering a drink took almost an hour, and the queues for the toilets were extremely long. Additionally, we didn't find the atmosphere all that great. The security guards, in my opinion, were doing a great job though. They were friendly to guests and reacted quickly to incidents to deal with the (tough) guys.

The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating – I arrived early for my booking, and they quickly found me a table without any hassle. The view was absolutely stunning, perfect for a relaxing meal. The food came out swiftly and was delicious. Overall, a fantastic spot for great service, beautiful surroundings, and tasty food. Highly recommend!

So we arrive for lunch. Stand in the entrance to the bay area view seating. For a couple of minutes. With staff walking past us like we’re completely invisible. So I flag down a team member to ask if we can have a table without a reservation. She says we can sit anywhere. So we sit and choose from the menus on the rather dirty table, and we sit. And sit. And wait. And wait. And no one comes to our table. Or looks or smiles at us. So we decide after about 10 minutes to leave. How can a hospitality venue in a hotel operate without any signs of hospitality? Complete shambles. We will never return. REPLY TO MANAGER REPLY - thanks for your response, but you need to be consistently welcoming and communicative. We got neither. You seem to have loads of staff just wandering about - are they afraid to talk to potential customers? Train them to smile and engage!!!!

We stayed in one of the loft rooms which was nice. There was quite a bit of moldy silicone in the shower that needed to be replaced (which felt a bit dirty), but otherwise the room was clean. The staff were nice and helped us with the air conditioner when we were having some trouble. The main reason for my star rating was the noise from the trash. Our room was directly over what appeared to be the trash / delivery area. We have a three year old and for the first few hours of us all trying to sleep, we were constantly startled awake by glass bottles being dumped and thrown one by one. And perhaps the sound of beer kegs (?) being thrown or stacked loudly / potentially something else that was metal being dragged. This went on every 40 minutes or so until after midnight and again woke us up at 6:12am. It appears to be a known problem looking at other reviews. So I’m surprised staff didn’t flag this to us upon checking in (especially since we had a child with us). Perhaps if we were out late ourselves (without a child), we might have only experienced the noise at 6:12am. I was also underwhelmed by the front desk staff response - simply apologizing and saying they’re busy on the weekend and will let the manager know. Based on this experience, I would not want to stay again.

Honestly had a great day yesterday but seriously guys the inside bar was the worst run bar I've ever encountered in all my 52 years. If you didn't have the view you'd be broke already. If u need me to help you get it together just reach out.
