Yup, this place is a straight up candy shop. Icelandic, mainland European, and American options can all be found here. Big variety, but they come at a price. If you are patient, you can find most of the things in this store at other markets for cheaper.

Great candy shop & I was thrilled to see an entire vegan section!! They have a huge selection of vegan chocolates and the shopkeeper who helped me (his name was maybe Sigurgeir?) was so kind and helpful. I'm sad I wasn't able to make it back before leaving Iceland but I will definitely make a point of visiting if I ever come back!

Very fun candy store with lots of variety. Several staff were very helpful in explaining the various types of licorice including the history of each. AND sampling was encouraged with no pressure to buy. But we kept coming back to add to our suitcase. The ‘3’ bars were a good buy. Also bought several types of Icelandic tea. Our FAVORITE item was the long licorice stick filled with chocolate!!! Delish! Perfect for the long flight home to Oregon. Wish we had bought more of those.

A great little chocolate shop on the outskirts of the crazy souvenir shopping area. The large Easter eggs are great and they have an amazing selection of chocolate bars and truffles.
