Villa Pattono Wine Country Resort

I cannot say enough nice things about this hotel. Firstly, the property is beautiful and the rooms are also very nice (we had a Junior Suite), but it's the staff and the intimate nature of the property that really sets it apart. It has only 13 rooms, so the staff will get to know you by name and where you're staying. They'll do nice stuff for you like make up a salami/cheese plate when technically it was off hours. The breakfast is very high quality, and their restaurant on site is very good. I wish they had a a bit more variety on the menu but certainly we didn't go wrong with the Chef's menu and wine pairing. You can also book massages in advance and their spa with steam room/sauna is great. We actually attempted to change our travel plans to stay longer but couldn't. Would love to come back some day.

We spent one night at the hotel, the truth is that it should have been more. The area where the hotel is is beautiful, a lot of green around, vineyards, a lot of peace. It has a beautiful pool, with a beautiful view of the garden and sunset. The room is very nice, with many details, such as a welcome local wine. A balcony overlooking the garden. We only had one problem with booking, we requested twin beds but the hotel did not receive the request, so we had a double room (they kindly tried to change but it was full). We had dinner at the restaurant, the attention was EXCELLENT, and the food too. We asked for gluten free dishes due to an allergy, and it was somewhat limited. Incredible breakfast, they offered me several gluten free options. Prices good. Value for money it is okay. Recommendable!!! Beautiful place to relax, and enjoy nature, good wine and good food

We stayed there for 3 nights as part of a group tour and it was truly magical. Our room had a view of the hills that was breathtaking. Our friends stayed in the tower room and we were lucky enough to visit them there...360 degree views of the vineyards surrounding the villa. The pool is beautiful. Breakfast was available at 8am but they really were not fully set up until 8:30. Everything offered was delicious but the coffee was warm, not hot. The other negative was that some people in the group got a bottle of wine in their room, while others did not. It was wonderful to get up early and walk the vineyards as the sun rose. The front desk arranged for rental E-bikes so my husband and cousin could riding one afternoon and that process was easy.

To say this is heaven on earth would be an understatement. The service is perfect, the rooms are impeccably beautiful, the food is beyond divine and the estate is the most calm and beautiful setting. We arrived at the sunset and enjoyed an aperitif on the terrace overlooking the vineyards. When we awoke in the morning the views from our bedroom windows totally blew us away. The breakfast cooked fresh by the chef was the perfect start to the day. The peacefulness around the property makes you whisper when chatting as to not break the peace, total relaxation. Bianca provides the most personal, friendly service. From recommendations, booking restaurants and a smile and welcome chat every day you are there. The restaurant is excellent, just as good if not better than you will find in any restaurant in town ( you must need to try the plins!). The selection of wine is what you would expect from being in the heart of Piemonte. Look nowhere else, we hope to return many times. Grazie mille

this hotel is located amid vineyards and has nice grounds||The hotel has a big tower and we took the suite that actually occupies the whole tower and has 3 floors which makes you climb quite a lot on the stairs||You arrive with the elevator to a floor which has a big balcony the next floor has the bedroom another floor above has the bathroom toilette Jacuzzi and hammam in the shower then you climb another floor and get to the top of the tower where located is a big room with an amazing view where you can relax watch TV or use the coffee machine.||There is surround music in all floors which is very nice and you get a very good complimentary bottle of wine. In total the suite is adorable my wife loved it but you must know that running up and down those narrow stairs can be quite annoying/||My wife loved this place I would be happy with one floor less. In any case it is very nice and unique. Except breakfast there is no food in the hotel and as we came late and were too tired to drive around they gave us a plate of cheese salami and fruits but there is nothing more there or near the hotel/||Breakfast was very good ||almost forgot, a spa with very nice small pool and sauna and a possibility to make a massage||add to this the serenity this hotel offers what makes it ideal for a retreat from the city

We couldn’t be happier with this relaxing palace of a hotel. The staff is perfect and very hard working. The grounds are beautiful. The room we stayed in was majestic and we’re sad to leave it. Breakfast is more than satisfactory with fresh eggs and bacon as well as the usual bountiful pastries, etc. this is a place we’ll surely return to. Good luck if you can book a reservation.

Just returned from a six night stay in late September 2018. The Villa is located a few miles outside of a small town in Piemonte. It is on a hill with a panoramic view of vineyards and family homes. Our room was clean with a modern bathroom and three sets of windows/doors for air flow. The Villa is over 100 years old but is well maintained. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast on the lawn under a tent each day. All the food was fresh and the staff were very helpful.

Couldn't believe the location and architectural design of this wonderful hotel. Spent two fantastic nights in a well appointed suit overlooking the well manicured grounds. What a place to chill out with that special person. Included breakfast was abundant with a cornucopia of breads, fruits, eggs, and proteins.
