Verina Astra Hotel

This is a very special hotel, don't hesitate to book. We had an exceptional stay here, the rooms and view from the pool and private verandas are incredible. The service was fantastic and I have to thank Vasiliki and Chrysa in being so helpful in arranging excursions prior to our arrival. The breakfast and coffee were incredible, the best we had during our trip to Greece. I would recommend renting a car if you stay here since it's a 20 min walk to the bus stop in Artemonas (and relatively uphill). Also, there are only 10 taxis on the island so if you need one, make sure to schedule in advance since they may be booked. Thank you again for a wonderful stay - we plan to return!

We stayed here a few years ago the first thing I would like to say is the location is stunning but it’s also very remote and if you are not a strong walker you will need a car or taxi to get around also the road is poorly poorly lit at nigh time. The room we stayed in was stunning with a fabulous view but the biggest disappointment for me was the breakfast if you don’t like eggs which neither of us do there was nothing else to eat and for the money that we paid I would have to say in all my years visiting different islands in Greece and staying in various types of accommodation this was the worst easily the worst .

We enjoyed our stay at Verina Astra very much thanks to the attentive staff, stunning views and beautifully decorated suite. Getting breakfast delivered on our terrace and the massage at the Spa where highlights of our stay! Considering the price positioning (approx. 600€ per night in August), we would expect some improvements though: 1. The pool area was too small considering the hotel capacity and we often had to wait for a sun-bed 2. The bedding quality does not meet international standards of luxury hotels both in terms of size and comfort (not a queen/king, less comfortable) 3. The AC in the room was quite old, not integrated and directly located above the bed, not enabling a comfortable temperature management

Beautiful hotel with breathtaking views. Amazing infinity pool. Helpful and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Gorgeous rooms. One of the most insane sunsets I’ve ever seen. 100% recommend.

This is a really special place. We loved everything about it. Our room was beautiful, spacious and well appointed. The views, from the pool area, restaurant and from our room, are stunning - you look right out over the water. Food is excellent - there is a fancy restaurant attached, Bostani, which was very good (reservation required) but the hotel also has its own more casual restaurant and bar for breakfast lunch and dinner which was great too - some of the best breakfast I've had in a hotel, and they do a particularly good negroni too. There is a spa where we had really excellent treatments. Service is great, very friendly and very capable. There is really nothing bad to say. Would recommend having your own car to get around.

Beautiful small hotel in a great setting with lovely views from the restaurant, pool and rooms. It’s walking distance from Kastro and Artemonas for dinner but they’re a good 25-30 minute hike. The room and terrace was a good size with lovely linens, furniture and decorations. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. It’s obviously not cheap but what you’d expect for a property of this standard in the summer. My only constructive criticism is that there are not enough sun beds around the pool… this is not a place or island where you come to just flop by the pool but there were always times during the day when there wasn’t anywhere to sit which is a shame even if you do have a nice terrace or veranda.

We did not stay here in Sifnos but we got the "honeymoon massage package" which included full body scrub, massage and facial at the end. The service was AMAZING and it was one of the highlights of our trip. It was such a great service and beautiful setting that we want to come back to Sifnos to stay at the hotel. Thanks again and would highly recommend!

We stayed at the Suite for a long weekend. Everything was amazing! Verina Astra is a small hotel with very friendly staff offering a personalised experience. The view is second to none and the architecture & design really stands out. It was worth every penny and I would strongly recommend it to anyone seeking a high quality vacation in the Aegean.
