Verbatim Books is such a cool spot in San Diego! The vibe is super cozy, and the selection is amazing—everything from rare finds to newer titles. It’s the kind of place where you can just wander around and lose track of time. Definitely worth checking out if you’re into books!

I came in to look for two books and unfortunately they didn’t have them. I appreciated the time the cashier took to research for me and he gave me tips on when to call or swing by. Cashier 172898001 he was working Sunday and tendered me for two books I found at 3:08pm. I found a great selection of books and purchased two under $20!! Got some cute metal corner protectors 4 for $1! They also have free bookmarks. I had a wonderful time and the set up is so so cool. Book lovers will appreciate how everything is arranged. Very cool bookstore!! Lots of good condition books, artsy stickers, and works from small, local artists and authors. There are plenty of seats inside and it has a real cozy and antique vibe. Even if you don't get anything, this is a cool spot to hangout and just look around <3 (and if you need parking there's a garage right across the street!)

This is a book store with real personality. You'll find all kinds of books. especially Goosebumps and Nancy Drew books! There is a mix of old and modern books, and they have a good selection of fiction and nonfiction. Plus, they sell all kinds of little trinkets. If you are a bookstore lover, you don't want to miss this place.

Magical bookstore with children’s books in the far right corner, back of the store. I bought 4 gently used books from this bookstore on North Park. It is also dog-friendly. There is a pet food store next door too!

Cool aesthetics, I picked up a Pissaro book as one does. Super normal Nic Cage shrine but I must admit I’ve seen National Treasure many times. Perfect place to hold a meeting for a secret society. Used books provide more randomness as you know

We are visiting from out of state and I can say, I wish this bookstore was in our state! A unique used book store with a large selection of books and a variety of book genres. The decor is eclectic, beautifully arranged, creative and interesting. There is also seating to relax in throughout the store.
