Chill food truck spot serving up tasty tacos and migas, with a vibrant atmosphere, fresh juices, and a great selection of salsas—perfect for a laid-back outing.
"In addition to serving some of the best tacos in Austin, all locations of the food truck and restaurant serve delicious aguas frescas daily, including watermelon, mango, and strawberry lime. Takeout orders can be placed online; all locations have outdoor dine-in areas and some with indoor dine-in areas." - Darcie Duttweiler
"At the essential Austin food truck, sisters Reyna and Maritza Vazquez make the best tacos in the city, served on handmade corn and flour tortillas with fresh salsas. It’s not a complete order without the migas taco and an agua fresca. Takeout and delivery orders are placed online or in person for all of its locations, plus the Veracruz Fonda restaurant in Mueller; most locations include indoor areas and all have outdoor dine-in areas." - Nadia Chaudhury, Erin Russell
"There aren’t a ton of things that almost everyone in the city universally agrees on, but if any statement were to cross all party lines and gain universal support, it’s that Veracruz All-Natural makes the best damn migas tacos in town. Come here first thing in the morning—either to start a day of hopping around the East Side, or to recover from a long night out—and make your way through the ever-present line to enjoy some of the best breakfast tacos in Austin. Make sure to grab one of their great aguas frescas, or hop over to Fleet Coffee next door for a morning pick-me-up (we like the espresso and tonic). " - raphael brion, nicolai mccrary, matthew jacobs
"The migas taco at Veracruz All-Natural sets the bar for all other migas tacos. Like Super Mario Bros. 3 or the brisket at Franklin Barbecue, they’re best-in-class—a legend. What makes these migas tacos so much better than all the other ones out there? The ingredients (they make their own tortilla chips), the execution, and the attention to detail (they take their time cooking things). Veracruz has multiple locations, and you’re probably going to have to wait in line no matter which one you go to. But just know these tacos are always worth it. What to get: Migas originales; Migas poblanas " - nicolai mccrary, raphael brion
"As Austinites know, Veracruz can do no wrong. Homemade tortillas and organic aguas frescas along with the migas, fish, and vegetable tacos inspire loyal devotion. Every location — trucks and restaurants — are typically jam-packed each week for good, delicious reasons. The Webberville location is fun and festive, and the Menchaca Road truck at host site Radio Coffee makes for a good taco/coffee trip. All locations are open for breakfast and lunch, and there are dinner hours at the Line Hotel and both Radio Coffees (the other on Montopolis). Takeout orders can be placed online or in person; there are outdoor dine-in areas at all locations and indoor dine-in areas at the restaurants (the Line Hotel in downtown and Round Rock)." - Nadia Chaudhury
