Pizza was amazing. French toast sucks. Good yogurt parfait. Lot of line. You order and sit on a table. Restroom is small and bad. Parking is tough to find.

The food is very tasty. The service is good. I love the cold water and the cold water with limes. The place is very nice but they need to give the bathroom a makeover and give it an extra cleaning.

Went there for a late breakfast today. This is a popular place and there was a line out the door, but it moved fairly quickly. Their menu is extensive in choices and - for tea lovers such as myself - they also have a nice selection of teas and infusions available. I ordered a breakfast burrito wrapped in spinach tortilla and an African rooibos infusion (no frills, sugar or milk - just the infusion). The two combined cost a bit over $20. Suggestion for tip on the screen started at 18%, which was what I provided and the cost came to a bit over $24. This is a place you order at the counter, take a number to the table, and the food is brought to you. I sat inside. The noise level was close to unbearable. Sound buffering panels would be a quite fitting addition for this place. The burrito lacked in flavor. It was not bad, it just was far from delicious. The roiboos infusion was very good. The service gratuity in this place is solely to order the food at the counter and to have the food placed on your table. No one ever passed by and asked how the food was tasting, if anything else was needed or such (probably a teaspoon of sourcream and 1/4 of a lime would have made the burrito a bit more flavorful, but I did not feel I had a chance to even request such condiments).

Was looking for a afternoon coffee & treat to share with my husband. This place popped up as highly rated in our area. Had to park in parking garage across the street but easy enough. Short walk over. The coffee & carrot cake were delicious. We enjoyed sitting outside in the Garden area in the front with the heat lamps. Staff was fast.

Great place to eat and if you’re a writer, there’s no shortage of characters here. Vegan options are delicious. Gluten free options are also delicious. Their breakfast is always divine and filling. The coffees and teas are very high quality and tasty. Desserts are very decadent and a shareable size. If you like paninis look no further. They make a damn good panini and grilled cheese. If you like spicy I recommend the Diablo panini. I also love their salads. Oh and their smoothies!!!! Superb smoothies. The menu changes from time to time with new additions or seasonal items. I always try the new items and I’m usually not disappointed. There is often a line but definitely worth it. Service is great , the people who work here have all been great over the years. The owner does a good job of maintaining a good team.

It is a lovely restaurant that has excellent decor and atmosphere. Urth green juice was freshly made and delicious. You can taste the fresh ginger. As for coffee, they have many options, and I tried the regular cappuccino and loved it. I am not really into flavored coffee; otherwise, I would have tried the Italian cappuccino. Give this restaurant a try for your healthy coffee drinks. I wished I was hungry because their breakfast dishes looked incredible.

Pistachio tiramisu is delicious!! The place is not crowded at all. And they brought our food out in less than 5 minutes. Really impressive for a Saturday

Items ordered: Hot coffee, oat milk latte, cortado, gluten free berry muffin, gluten free pumpkin pie, regular pumpkin pie, omelet, breakfast burrito with GF tortilla Service: staff were very nice, thorough, and open to explaining dietary accommodations Value: A little pricey but typical for the area The Review: Our haul from Urth was delish. To start off, their espresso was bold, smooth, and flavorful. I usually opt for regular milk but the oat milk latte was pretty good! The amount of options for gluten free, vegan, and other dietary needs was just incredible. The star of the show was the berry muffin, which my sister immediately stole from me, and I was nearly reduced to tears. The breakfast burrito was also out of this world, and the GF tortilla was good! Minus one star because they gave me an incomplete order and I had to go back. Feedback was not good on the drip coffee either. The restaurant itself is very homey, with a fireplace inside and heating towers outside--perfect for a cozy AND chic brunch on the town. Issues with the order aside, I will totally go back when I return.

It used to be a hot spot many, many years ago. Now it's mostly about waiting. Waiting in line to order, waiting for drinks, waiting for food. The quality of the food hasn't changed and it is still good. But somehow the all I loved about Urth cafe is gone. There is nothing special about it. Sad. They need to innovate.

Cute coffee shop we came across during our stay in Beverly Hills. Paid metered parking on the street. I got a small Spanish latte (5.95) which was recommended by our cashier. It was good- a stronger coffee. My friend(s) got the pumpkin chai (AMAZING and highly recommend- if you're into pumpkin), the egg white and spinach panini, and the chocolate croissant. Overall, cute coffee shop with both indoor and outdoor spaces. Would highly recommend~

Service is great but the quality of their baked goods has gone downhill. I saw a row of Napoleon pastry and decided to order one along with some hot chocolate and tea. The Napoleon was stale and old. The custard was horrible. I don't understand why they are serving old stale pastry? If you're going to charge $12 plus for a dessert it needs to be fresh and not sitting out for God knows how long. I will not be coming back here anymore for their baked goods.

We ordered the Napoleon, vegan pumpkin pie slice and flourless chocolate cake. It's busy over the weekend, long wait lines - there's an efficient customer service. Staff is friendly and helpful. Parking is a bit difficult to find around the area since it's Beverly hills. Ambience is medium noise, can get a bit loud over the weekend.

Classic LA brunch spot, always a pleasure coming here with some friends on the weekend. Somewhat limited and kind of crowded seating considering the amount of people in line, and it can take a while to order sometimes. However, once you order the food comes out pretty quickly. I wish that there was more indoor seating/shaded outdoor seating since it gets so hot during the day. I ordered the chicken pesto omelette and loved that it came with a salad and bread. The ingredients of the omelette went really well together and I would order it again. I also love their cottage parfait, gluten free yogurt, smoothies, and matcha!

The service is just horrible...I haven't been there since my last review,this place is so busy and they can't hire ppl who at least speak English? And have common sense? Seriously....the guy was setting up table for 4 ppl next to me but literally putting them ON MY TABLE,,,knowing that I'm not a part of their party.when I asked him how am I gonna exit he said NO ENGLISH.the food got worse. I asked 3 ppl to bring me to go box and a bag before using a "sign language "as well Since they had no idea what I was asking for.

love all the urth caffé's but this location specifically went above and beyond for service and was such a great experience! even though it was crowded, there were workers checking up on us and an assortment of water refreshments for free. the ambiance is very european like if you sit outside which is a nice touch. i always have a great matcha here when i come so definitely try that!!

Food is always yummy with a multitude of healthy choices... service is good... ambience is cool and relaxing... Pizza crust a little soggy in the center... Tuna was a little on the dry side... but would still eat here again... too many things on the menu yet to try!

This is one of those places that's always provide as an option when my friends visit SoCal and want me to take them around somewhere, mainly because of how well known it is. I had been to Urth in Orange County, but this time we decided to check out this location since my friends had just moved to West LA. PARKING: Pretty standard for this area - might possibly be a pain during the weekends when everyone's out in the area. FOOD: Delicious! The poach di parma was perfectly toasted, serving as a nice base for the exciting stuff on top. I was nervous this was going to be salty, but the prosciutto was perfectly balanced by the poached egg and arugula on top. The melon on the side was also a great way to wash down the meal. The French toast lived up to the hype! I wouldn't call it the best French toast I've ever had, but it was absolutely delicious - not soggy and it was the perfect level of crispiness. Whipped cream was much needed too. SERVICE: Surprisingly, even for a weekend, we didn't have to wait for seating really. Rather than getting seated then having your order taken, you order at the counter, they give you a table marker, and then you find a table and they bring out your food. The food took a little bit of a while for us. VIBES: Great for catching up with friends or a few family members, or perhaps even a casual date. It was a little bit loud inside and less walking room than other restaurants, but not a problem for us. There was also outdoor seating which looked really nice. BOTTOM LINE: LA and OC are definitely saturated with great brunch places, so I wouldn't say Urth is at the top of the list. But it's still pretty solid, and I could definitely see myself going again.

Urth is a really cute cafe to catch up with friends. There are many small tables and a great selection of food ranging from delicious pastries to bigger breakfast/brunch/lunch items if you're looking for something more substantial. I personally had the fruit tart, which was really good. I would get it again. It was light, creamy, and not overly sweet. I also got the potato latkes. It was not as crispy as I would have liked and the potato seemed a little underdone, I would probably not get this again. My friend who got the Spanish Latte said she did not like it because the flavor was lacking, but the croissants were good. Overall, my friends and I thought it was really nice to go to and chat, the service was really nice and quick, but it was a little overpriced. It is worth it to go to if you want to stay for a bit, but it is not on my list of cafes to grab a quick pastry and coffee because of the price.

Coffee and drinks are great. Service is good especially when it's not too busy, but the food quality has gone down significantly. I used to come here all the time for years and the food was great, the quality of the dishes was amazing and now is really far from that. Very unfortunate. I'd give the coffee 5 stars.

I know about urth and I loved the good vibes here tonight! Lots of French women eating salads and desserts and good free water and WiFi! I just came from the salon across the street and thought to pop in and chill. The service is good! A staff came to light my candle:) how nice

Dessert. Hot Chocolate. It's what I got last week after dinner up the street. And I have to say - really enjoyed the blueberry cheesecake. Starting again - parking. It's on Beverly Blvd. Meters enforced until 9PM. Saw a garage but don't know what the rates are. I saw lots of open curbs in the neighborhood back behind but I didn't check signs if permits are required. They probably are. Walk up the stairs and in to take your order. Then find a seat or wait for your order to go. Grabbed outdoor seating under a few heat lamps. Side note - the heat lamps work really well. Not only did I have to take of my jacket, I think my skin might have caught a little tan. Anyway - to the cheesecake. Enjoyed the flavor and consistency. I felt the hot chocolate was I ordered with Almond Milk was standard. Not sure I'd get it again. But the cheesecake, I definitely would.

Busy! Line was out the door although it moved quite fast. Order at register and staff brings food out to your table. Note- breakfast not served all day and several of the lunch items specify that they come with a side salad but you have to specifically request it when ordering. Parking not great in the area- lots or paid street parking. If you're parking on residential side streets, read the signage well or prepare for a ticket!

I would give 5 stars just for the drinks themselves. I got the green rose latte which is made with earl grey tea, rose, & potentially matcha bc it was well, green. It was incredible. I got it with nondairy milk. I got the paradise salad but it felt like a bunch of random ingredients thrown together :/ my mom got the portobello panini and loved it. My friend doesn't like the seating here. I'm not sure why. It is kind of crowded, I wouldn't come here to work on things like with my laptop. I mainly saw friends & family catching up. Many dogs. Very dog-friendly. Service is kind of weird but effective for purposes of a cafe - you stand in line to order & then you stand in another line to pick up your order. I feel like if you were to come alone, someone would swipe your table!!! It is a cafe after all though. I would come back solely for the drinks. The large is a huuuuuge bowl. Which is great for me bc I have a beverage addiction... to tea lattes. Thanks Urth :) please make your breakfast options into vegan versions! How badly I wanted pancakes, waffles, or French toast! You would be attracting a whole new level of clientele. It isn't expensive to switch some ingredients...

Food: 1. Eggs Benedict Canyon with salmon - I loved everything on my plate. From the Hollandaise sauce, the poached egg, the smoked salmon to the potato latkes and salad on the side. Delicious! 2. Panini El diablo- Pretty good, but not Amazing to me. Drinks: 1. Spanish latte - It was my first time tasting it and I'm a Fan! The latte has a smooth, nutty and earthy flavor. 2. Green tea Boba - I find this pretty mediocre. I would recommend the Rising Sun instead. Service: Good. Line could be long at times. Ambiance: Relaxing and nice. * If you sign up the urth loyalty program, you get to enjoy a complimentary birthday dessert along with other perks!

The restaurant itself gets 5 stars. But I'd take a star off for the parking. It's so annoying to park in this area. If you get lucky you can find street parking. If you're there for lunch there's a possibility of finding something in the neighborhoods a block or two down as well. Otherwise you're gonna go to a garage and pay $2.50 per 15 minutes, with a max out of about $35 Otherwise, no matter the location, this place never disappoints. If you can't find some thing on the menu here then you have a problem. It's like the cheesecake factory on a smaller scale restaurant. There are endless options. And also the portions are very good. The food is always so fresh. I personally am a big fan of all the salads. And if you like curry flavor adding the curry chicken to any of the salads is another bonus. They also have a great selection of drinks both hot and cold. And bakery options to indulging as well. Overall this place is a vibe. You can eat inside and feel like you're in an old home or enjoy a nice patio meal. All of their locations are pretty consistent in this way. Haven't met anyone who wouldn't choose Urth... other than that pesky SoCal parking.

I usually have only gone to Urth for their dessert and coffee, but now understand why people go there for food. Their salads are phenomenal and fresh and generous. Best deal in the area probably. My buddy and I shared a prosciutto pizza and the caesar with avocado. As you can see in the photo there was a ton of great quality avocado and yummy parm crisps. The prosciutto pizza was flavorful and the pizza was probably more like a flatbread rather than a pizza. But so good! We also got some juices that were refreshing and yummy. Bonus points for no ice! Seating was tough but managed to find a spot. Cozy and secluded feeling. Great friendly service, no hassle!

Came here for lunch, had the butternut squash pizza and a Mango smoothie. It was absolutely amazing. Can't wait to come back.

Trust me - the wait is worth it! Had a delicious breakfast here before leaving LA. The line was long, but when we got to the front and had some questions, the cashier was very attentive and helpful and we did not feel rushed. We went with her recommendations for the Bread Pudding and African Tea Latte and then also decided on the breakfast panini and a medium coffee. We got the coffee and bread pudding immediately, and waited on the breakfast panini and African Tea latte. Unfortunately the African Tea latte took a bit longer than we thought so we had to rush drinking that. The coffee had great flavor and did not taste burnt at all (free oat milk too!). The breakfast panini had all the flavors of a cheese pizza, but with egg! Although tasty, the did not interest me for breakfast and I probably would not order that again. The stars of the show were the African Tea latte and the bread pudding. The latte had an incredible flavor that built the more you drank it. The bread pudding was definitely the best we ever had! It had delicious flavor to it and we were very upset when we were finished.

They serve amazing cappuccinos and delicious cakes. The coffee is rich, and the cakes are a treat. The cozy atmosphere makes it a perfect spot to enjoy a sweet break. My friend and I always go there for the magical atmosphere and delicious cappuccino, the only thing is that sometimes the cappuccino is served colder, but I'll give it 5 stars because it's still very tasty and beautiful.

I stopped at this Urth Caffé location after I ran the LA Marathon and of course it didn't disappoint. The food and drinks at Urth Caffé are always good and feel healthy, even if they might not entirely be. Never ever skip out on the Organic Green Tea Boba--it is the best drink on the menu for certain and why I always come back!

My go-to place after shopping at Melrose! The have delicious matcha latte and pastries! I usually go in the afternoon on weekdays, so it wasn't that busy. Great vibe and good service.

Had an alright meal here but nothing to write home about. I recall the last time I came to their other location I ordered a smoothie with all these different fruits only to find out later that they charge per fruit so it cost some crazy amount. Really doesn't make sense its not like you get a bigger smoothie when you add more fruit they just put less of another fruit.. Anyways I found that annoying and obviously didnt make that mistake again. But the omellete I had was ok but nothing special.

I would knock one star off as the service was pretty slow, but that would be unfair for the backed goods and coffee that were excellent. These are some of the best cookies I have had in a long time. Well worth checking out.

I absolutely love Urth Caffé I've been going to the one in Laguna Beach for years and years. This one in Beverly Hills is just as nice everyone is just as friendly and of course I always happen to see more dogs and people ... I absolutely love their vanilla latte and they make the very best homemade granola... I always end up buying a couple of bags and give them away is gets. They have oat milk and almond milk for your preference. Plenty of outdoor seating . , it's one of the most comfortable cafés I have been to.

I can see what the hype is about. Where you have Starbucks and Coffee Bean everywhere, this is an escape from all that. What makes Urth special is its coffee. Try the Spanish Latte! Just do it. It's so thick, foamy, huge, and perfect balance of sweetness. It's one of the world's best lattes and put a smile on my face. My husband loved the cappuccino - light and perfect balance of bitterness. They have an enormous menu for pastries and food, none of which we tried, as we weren't hungry. But it seems like an inviting oasis to enjoy a meal and have a conversation. The prices are on the high side, but it seems to be warranted, as portions are huge and quality is high. I will say that the staff member who took our order was pretentious, but I guess we are in the middle of Beverly Hills, so I wasn't that surprised. Outside of this, Urth Cafe was a sweet little coffee stop for us.

While friendly, service can be slow, especially during peak hours, given the high volume of customers. However, the staff is generally accommodating and attentive. The menu features a variety of options, including breakfast burritos, avocado toast, and fresh pastries. Many love the organic omelettes and acai bowls.

I recently went to Urth Caffé for brunch with a friend and their family, and let me tell you--it was a game-changer. I've always ordered from Urth Caffé on Uber Eats for work, but I usually just get their juices and teas. I honestly had no idea they had such incredible food! When I tried their Chicken Tostada Bowl, it was hands down the best thing I've ever had. The chicken was fresh, tender, and juicy, and the veggies were perfectly crisp. But the real star was the sauce on top--it was to die for. I can honestly say that this is now the only place I'll order a tostada bowl from.

I've been to three different Urth Caffe locations. They have by far the best bread pudding I've ever had. I live in San Diego and always feel tempted to take a mini road trip just for the bread pudding and the food. Excellent service as well. Highly recommend!

Urth Caffe is one of those places that you can never seem to get tired of. It's easily one of our favorite places to go when visiting LA in Beverly Hills. We used the parking structure, which doesn't charge for the first 2 hours, down the street from the restaurant. We ordered the Spinach & Feta omelette, Urth Salad, Spanish latte, and their Urths daily coffee. We found seating outside. The place was packed but everything went smoothly. This is our experience every time we are there, which has been at least 5 times. The service was great, they move the line and deliver the food timely and nicely. The vibe of this place feels European. Being from Chicago, I wish we had a spot like this. I'd recommend this to everyone, an easy 5 stars!

It never surprised me that Urth cafe has amazing quality food and coffee. Every time I visit LA, this is my go to place for breakfast and a coffee pick me up. Line forms fast around 9:30AM, so get there early if you can. I ordered the soy latte and my boyfriend ordered the mocha latte. Both excellent with their heirloom coffee beans! Then we ordered breakfast: the açaí bowl and two egg style plate. The açaí bowl is amazing, so delicious. The two egg style are eggs, super simple, nothing special. The place is very active, loud and cafe vibes. There is indoor and outdoor seating.

Great clean healthy food at very affordable prices, especially for the area! Their pizzas are same with practically everything on their menu. Açaí bowls are made to perfection Their bobas do not taste artificial and are exquisite The ceaser salad comes with generous portions of parm crisps and they offer a sardine free dressing option. The sandwiches are all made to perfection with the perfect bread to sauce to ingredient ratio. And most importantly the service is impeccable! If you're ordering To GO or for there, you'll be extremely content!

This was my first time at this LA staple and it did not disappoint! The line was very quick and we were able to secure 3 small tables right next to each other. The food came out quickly and it was great! We got omelets, french toast, sandwiches, and bread pudding. We wished the potatoes were a little crispier and found the omelets to be a little small for their price but otherwise we really enjoyed our meal.

Urth Caffe is a chain cafe that does not feel like a chain cafe. Every one is designed almost the same, the menus are the same, and the food is the same. What makes it special are the people who are there. Despite being in the heart of Beverly Hills, you do not feel like you are in Beverly Hills. The location is very cute and gives you an earthy, comfortable feeling. If you are in need for coffee and a good, healthy snack, Urth is the place to go.

2nd time at urth but diff location ! loved the matcha tiramisu, SO frickin good im craving it so hard, also got the thai red latte, so cute the art is always so cute here ladies here were nice too, and they had a fireplace going, everyone is so happy here and i studied for a good time w my friend :)

Extremely popular coffee house with several locations in SoCal. I live in Pasadena, but the first location that I actually stop and visit isn't the Pasadena one, but rather this Beverly Hills one. It gives extremely welcoming vibes and the food and drinks are delicious. There's plenty of seating and it all feels simple but cozy and comfortable, as if it was one's own home.
