"Upstairs Bar at the Ace Hotel, Downtown La. Perched atop the Ace Hotel which resides in the historic United Artists Theater and Tower on Broadway (built in 1927), is a Moroccan-themed drinking nest complemented with wood furniture, seat pillows, a great cocktail menu and a gorgeous view of the city skyline. Upstairs Bar is chill spot to grab a beverage and indulge in a bit of conversation with other designers in the early afternoon before the flock of hipsters fly in."

"Upstairs at The Ace is an urban rooftop oasis where you can indulge in peak people watching poolside, and take in the scene at one of the bar’s popular day parties. The drink menu is well suited for a poolside crowd, with summery concoctions like the Almost Famous (made with bell pepper-infused mestizo mezcal, ancho reyes, aperol, and lime) and pitchers of Micheladas. To eat, you'll find shredded beef tacos, flash-fried Brussels sprouts, nachos, and Cubano sandwiches, and the bar staff gets the job done with a smile. It’s ideal for a dose of summer vibes and fantastic people watching." - Krista Simmons, Hugh Garvey

This place is beautiful and has the best views of downtown Los Angeles. We were full from a late lunch, so we had drinks and chips & salsa & guacamole. The atmosphere was inviting and cozy. Great place to bring a date or a great place to meet friends. I would not recommend it as a good place for kids. Definitely adult fare. Great drinks. Nice fireplace for those chillier days and nights in LA.

We were here for a drink on Sunday at around 2pm. It was quiet and not too many people. Service was horrible since we had to order our drinks at the bar. Drinks were okay, little pricey for what you get. Dj (female) was horrible! Looks like she was learning but the kinda music she was playing was too heavy for the relaxing atmosphere. Great views and very nice decor. Convenient parking next to the hotel ($10 if you get there early, $25 after 5pm).

Came here last Saturday, probably around 3 or 4, was definitely lively and got busier as the night when on. It's definitely a party at night. Really cool views, pretty relaxing during the day and lots of fun at night. Drinks were a little on the pricey side, but they were good.

Great views, lovely vibes. Wish the drink menu was a bit more extensive BUT the bartender had some great recommendations and the cocktails were very tasty

An amazing rooftop bar (especially when the weather and sun is perfect) with quite a diverse and interesting cocktail menu. Expect to pay around 15$ for one cocktail, which is a bit on the smaller end but packs a taste!

I had a good time here. The bartenders were friendly and conversational. Overall I love it for the drinks, the pool on the rooftop, the views and architecture design.

It was a beautiful day in LA, place has great views, service was bad, we had to get up to take our glasses back to the bar because our table was full, no one came to clean or ask if we were ok in 3 hours that we were there. Music was terrible, tooooo intense for a sunday at noon... people were coming and leaving soon.. so the place felt boring and empty... we were very disappointed...
