UNA pizza + wine Calgary: 17th Ave

It was very pretty in there, nice environment for a simple dinner with family or friends !! The food was okay, best thing we had was the california karaage chicken, super tender and great in flavour. The tomatoe sauce we had with the garlic bread was incredible even though it was so simple. We ordered the quatro carne pizza and it was okay, yummy but not that unique. We couldve ordered a meat lovers pizza from any pizza chain and they would taste the exact same. Everything else we had was also just okay, very mediocre and underwhelming. I tried their own brand of italian soda, raspberry lime 7.5/10 Overall it was a nice experience and I would recommend checking it out at-least once, but I don't see myself going back.

UNA Pizza is a true gem for pizza lovers! I absolutely adore their 4 Maggi cheese pizza — it’s the perfect blend of cheeses, and I just keep coming back for more. I order it regularly, often take it to go, and sometimes visit with my boyfriend to enjoy it hot, right out of the oven. The flavor is so rich, I can’t imagine a better option! The service is always top-notch, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. Una Pizza is hands down my favorite pizzeria in town!

I enjoyed the food at this place. Everything I had was excellent. I particularly loved the cauliflower and the coffee-infused cocktail, the name of which I unfortunately forgot. Having a meal with friends on the patio during a sunny afternoon was delightful. I would say this is the best pizza place I've been to in Calgary. The Italian pizza with slightly burnt crust was particularly delicious.

17th Avenue has been lucky to have UNA for so many years and every single dish to come out of the kitchen is delicious. Try everything and you will find something you crave re-ordering. This is an intimate restaurant with cozy space and fantastic service should you chose to stay in. The best bonus for people watching is sitting on the patio on a nice day, it is a central and fun spot to be. On the contrary, if you like to take your meal to go... They have NEVER made an error in all my various orders I have made including the large group orders I used to place when I worked downtown. UNA is amazing, highly recommend!!!

It was my first time at Una! I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious everything was. I am obsessed with truffle so the carpaccio was incredible and we got the four-maggi pizza and the truffle honey on that was also sooo good! All in all, a really great experience! Working in the service industry though I expect a bit more attention from the server, maybe a bit more personality? Could be an off day for them but they just seemed kind of dead inside. Overall however good experience and I would go back!

Delicious pizza and crispy fried chicken. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the staff is super friendly. A great place to enjoy a meal with family or friends. Highly recommend!

Went to the Frenchie Wine Bar Speakeasy. It was really cool, great atmosphere and perfect for date night or drinks with friends. The cocktails were tasty and reasonably priced.

Some of the best Italian food here in Calgary! Una is brilliantly delicious! And the staff is so kind and extremely accommodating the arancini was very light and flavourful! I had the special, the lamb balls! Extremely aromatic and fresh!! And finally the tagliatelle pomodoro was perfection!
