"This one is for the comfort food lovers. If you are after a meal that just makes you feel good and with a warm heart don’t look any further, Twenty One is just your place! Feeding their loyal customers for breakfast, lunch and dinner since September 1958 and still run by the same family, the restaurant was the first to offer alfresco dining experience to Sydney and the first espresso coffee machine to the eastern suburbs. Our favourite dishes? Veal schnitzel with creamed spinach and the chicken noodle matzo ball soup." - CoMa

Very comfortable seats and delicious food! Their coffee is the best! The service is great too with friendly staff. I would recommend to visit this place!

I’ve been going to 21 for over 35 years. And have had always a great experience there. The food is still the same. Nothing beats their chicken schnitzel. Now I have my children going and they love it as well. It was so nice to catch up with some friends and have a good old classic meal. The portions were amazing. The service was fantastic, yes it’s a little bit dated but value for money long lasting memories. Nothing beats that. Looking forward to now taking my grandchildren. I’m so happy that the restaurant still the same and the owners are the ones who originally started. Totally recommend to take some friends if you want to eat good old classic food. You should try the traditional Hungarian dishes. Thanks again for the great service and looking forward to seeing you again.

First time dining here. Make sure to book as it’s busy but worth it. Schnitzels and crepes. Ooft. Worth it.

This has to be Sydney's best restaurant. The food is authentic European cuisine at its finest, the waiters are so nice, and the portions are very generous. I understand now why this establishment has been operating continuously since the 1950's. Whether celebrating an event, or just having a night out, your expectations will definitely be exceeded.

Food was average. Ordered the Weiner schnitzel which was very dry, like cardboard, the creamed spinach was nice but the service was fantastic and its so cute inside. It was very hot and stuffy inside on a hot evening but perhaps the aircon wasn't working. I wanted to give 5 stars but it was not all I had hoped.

This was by far one of the worst food experiences I have ever had! Lover of Hungarian Food this place.. mind blowing how bad it was!!! Some how managed to serve cabbage rolls Completely cold on the inside, came back Still cold on the inside. My poor family were subjected to potentially the worst schnitzel ever served to humans. Stay Away!

Old school comfort food - love it. Not many of these kinds of places left in Sydney. Good service, nice wine list. Crumbed veal was moist and tender. Deep fried mushrooms with blue cheese dipping sauce - yum. Only thing missing was potato salad. We will be back, even just for the nostalgia 🥰
