Tucci's Southside Subs

We came into the area for an event and were hungry for lunch on the way out. Very glad we found Tucci’s. The owner was so nice. The sandwiches were great too. The cheesesteak sandwich was solid. I ordered a regular size but I could’ve thrown down a large (double the regular size) because the sandwich was good. Definitely go support! The businesses on the corner are getting the short end of the stick with all the construction there.

The premium Italian was one of the best Italian subs I’ve ever had. The staff put time and care into building that sandwich, and it showed. Beautifully crafted, perfectly crispy bread, top quality meats and cheeses. Truly amazing.

Awesome little local sub shop. We highly recommend the Italian beef and will be back!

I’ve had some pretty good experiences here, but I dropped by on a whim to get a chicken cheesesteak the other day. I confirmed twice that they still had the chicken version and that’s what I wanted. The sandwich was $22. Which ok, inflation is real and all, but I can get a cheaper sandwich from a shop near town that has higher rent. I’m still in for it because Tucci’s has pretty good food. Get home and they’ve given me a steak sandwich I can’t even eat as I don’t eat beef. $22 and I didn’t even get to eat. This place has pretty good food but be prepared for unreasonable prices and double check what you get even if the receipt is correct.

Outstanding hoagies. Disappointed in myself for not trying this place sooner. Friendly staff in my experience as the fellas behind the counter were chatty and helpful. Bread is easily some of the best I've had outside the tri-state new England area. But the bread alone doesn't make the sandwich it's the care and craft of a true east coast deli. Looking forward to my next visit.

Extremely good and high quality subs. Bread isn’t always the softest but it’s good quality and tasty Staff are competent and not what I’d call UNfriendly, but certainly no one would call them friendly. Atmosphere is just your typical tables in a lobby, just a place you eat if you’re hungry and cant eat at home or don’t want to eat in your car. Cleanliness inspires confidence. Not cheap. And a drink and chips are like 5 MORE bucks. But hey it’s good food. I will definitely come back, but probably just to pick up my hopefully pre ordered food as I do not like feeling like I’m bothering someone when their entire job is to service the customer. Support local by eating here.
