The shop is really nice but salesperson should be friendly and speak at least a local language. I used to have a better experience with Trunk and several energetic salespersons. It’s Saturday morning but the person was lack of interest and energy. Unfortunately.

Two stars for the selection and atmosphere, but the customer service is terrible. Returned an item in-store and left the shop without a receipt for the return and no money back - “we need to approve things first”. It’s now been one week and I still haven’t gotten my money back, simply an email that confirms that the item is now in London and that they’re not happy that I contacted PayPal regarding my non-existent refund (after a week, it does make sense, doesn’t it?). Unfortunately, it’s not the first time that this has happened. For my last return, I needed to send them a reminder after a while and all of a sudden, the PayPal payment happened. It’s really a shame, as this is truly a beautiful shop and I loved to come here before. Will surely not be back again and will hope to receive my money back at some point.

A highly curated store, with a selection of brands you won’t find anywhere else in Switzerland. The atmosphere is very cozy with attention to detail with every customer. Quite expensive but definitely worth a visit !

If you're on a 20 hour layover on your way back to the States and seeking a beautiful and diverting way to take your coffee on a lazy Saturday morning, look no further than Monocle Cafe and Shop. As a fan of the publication, I was happy to learn they also serve up java and croissants at this location, a mere 4 min stroll from my hotel by the opera house and 1 block from the lake. The outdoor vibe was soothingly Swiss to this weary traveler and offered some post-caffeine browsing opportunities as well. If I'm ever back in Zürich, I'll be sure to add this to my morning rotation.

Monocle is a beautifu café with excellent coffee on Dufourstrasse. It is just one block away from the Feldeggstrasse tram station. My order of latte was served meticulously on a mini tray with a gingerbread cookie on the side. The latte art was nicely done and the latte itself was delicious. The seating area is flushed against the glass wall, making it ideal for people watching. The café also features magazines and merchandise on men's apparel and accessories. The retail items appear to be of high quality, and the collection is definitely carefully curated. The sister store Trunk right next door offers an even wider selection of items. Come by for a cup of coffee, especially if you are a visitor who needs a break from the hustle and bustle of Bahnhofstrasse.

Amazing café close to the lake. They sell magazines and books too, so budget some time to browse a bit while you are here. The Monocle magazine and their online radio station are wonderful too! This place is definitely worth a visit.
