Trudon - Rive Gauche

A must visit if you are a candle lover or loving this brand. The boutique smells beautiful, looks beautiful and staff is kind, knowledgeable and very attentive. They made me feel welcome, told me more about history of the brand and showed few of their favourite pieces. My order was packed beautifully and I received some extra goodies too.

I first learned about this brand in Florida. So when we happened upon it in Paris, it was a must stop. They have some of the most unique and intense candles and perfumes around. The shop is beautifully done and the staff were very helpful. We wound up purchasing a sample pack of their perfumes. If we came back and decided to purchase a full sized perfume, they would apply the amount of the sampler box to that purchase. That is a great deal.

This is what you need to take home with you and give as gifts to family and friends. This company has an amazing history. VERSAILLES! I send candles to family and friends every Christmas. When they first opened the gifts (the candles) they thanked me. It is usually about 30-60 days later I get an email from them. "How do I get this in the US? I am in love with the candle. Thank you again." I love to give a great gift and every time I send a candle from Trudon it is always loved by the recipient. They are available at other locations, but I prefer to shop in this specific shop. They take care to point out new things to me and always show me treasures I hadn't noticed before. My favorites are Gabriel and Tadine. I also send Ernesto. I buy for myself too. Many people I send them to live alone. I send them messages and a picture of my lit candle sometimes to let them know I am thinking of them. This always results in a return message where they tell me they think of me every time they light it or just walk by the candle I sent them too. Trudon has helped me to create a beautiful life filled with glorious scent and memories I can share with loved ones.

You can't beat the classics. Extremely refined wax, beautiful taper candles, and my favorite: the scented candles with rich and complex fragrances inspired from Versailles life style. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Most beautiful candle store and the quality of their products speak (or rather, smell) for themselves. Worthy the hefty price tag for such true craftsmanship.
