The Old Library is a standout attraction, housing the magnificent Book of Kells, an illuminated manuscript. I was told to go and read all of the reviews to go and see the place. It is an active university and is a busy and beautiful place. Go have a look and enjoy the place. There is a lot to see and do. There was alot of older attractions being repaired so could not be seeing everything as normal. Worth a visit and a walk through

Everyone says you should visit this beautiful college and they are not wrong. You can do a tour or just walk around and enjoy the views. It is very large. Easy to get around. There’s a souvenir shop with toilets.

What an amazing place to start the Epic Ireland trip with my dad! We had just flown in on the red eye dropped of our luggage at the hotel and walked through the rain to a one of a kind experience. The staff was very helpful as we ducked out of the rain and bought our tickets. Then we got to learn about so much history about Trinity and the book of Kells. Then in the long room we got to see artifacts like the oldest known harp in Ireland. Definitely worth the visit!

Worth visiting if you're going to buy any of the paid visits/experiences (like Book of Kells with entry to the Long Room). Apart from that college gounds are a place where you can take a pleasant walk on a sunny day - but be prepared to see a lot of people, including many group tours.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Trinity College Dublin, and I must say, it is a truly outstanding institution. One of the highlights of my visit was the opportunity to see the Book of Kells, an extraordinary medieval manuscript that is a testament to Ireland's rich cultural heritage. This experience was made possible thanks to my daughter's friend, an alumna of the college, who graciously arranged for us to receive a free pass to view this magnificent artifact. Trinity College Dublin has a proud tradition of excellence, and its alumni include some world-renowned figures such as the celebrated writer Samuel Beckett and the former President of Ireland, Mary Robinson. Being able to visit such a prestigious university and witness its historical treasures firsthand was an honor, and I feel truly fortunate to have had this opportunity.
