Posititve: Absolutely spectacular food. Homemade pasta. Fresh seafood. The duck two ways is a phenomenal dish. Been here a dozen times and I am blown away every time I eat here. I honestly cant say enough about the cuisine its fabulous. BYOB Negative:The decor is a little dated. There was vegetable oil for dipping bread disguised as olive oil. Not cool.

Went there on my 50th b day with the family.We had eaten there before and it was great which is why we planned to eat there again. What a difference this time, June 11th 2013. The appetizers were good but after ordering a shrimp dish we were told there was only enough shrimp for 0ne entree as two of us ordered the same shrimp entree. the waiter said the chef would split the remaining shrimp and add Chilean sea bas to each. This was great as I was thinking of ordering the Sea Bass anyway. The quality of the sea bass was terrible instead of buttery and delicious it was very fishy tasting. when i told the waiter he said he would let the chef know. that was it, no further contact. My daughter and son have had the rack of lamb there in the past and loved it. On this night it came out not medium rare as there menu states they cook it. It was a purple kind of rare. Which made us all eat at different times. They offered not even an apology. In fairness i did email Matt the owner the next day to share my experience with him as I did not want to write a negative review. I gave him 6 weeks to respond and not even an apology. no response at all!

Take out service needs improvement: Last week 7/25/15; order 79: large Marcherita $16.95(fresh tomato, mozarella;basil);antipasto. Antipasto $8.95was ok; the pizza had no fresh tomato...no basil. Today...I went in to place the same order....45 minutes later...the same pizza...no fresh tomato...no basil....I declined the order and left. The pizza maker should be fired. I don't think I'll go back.

Terrific food and very attentive staff. Service was excellent. If you like high end Italian food (Brando's in Asbury Park) you will definitely enjoy Tre Amici.

Had a memorable dinner at Trama's Trattoria last night. The best Italian food in Long Branch for sure! Went on a whim and they kindly seated us with no reservation. We ordered the calamari to start and I'm shocked to say the marinara and side of tomato salad outshined the calamari itself. The tomatoes were perfectly dressed, and the marinara was TASTY - I could drink it on its own (and I did lol)! For our mains, we got the bolognese and carbonara. Both delicious and rich. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente. Service was top notch. We were tended to by multiple servers throughout our dinner, even after we paid the bill. Incredible hospitality! There is no parking lot. Street parking was ample when we went, but it's currently winter. I imagine it would be a nightmare to find parking during peak season.

Fucking awesome food! Can I curse? Sorry. This place is the best Italian food I have had in...ever. Service was amazing, waiter was very attentive, and everything came out great. I had mussels and a pasta dish special with a mushroom bolognese sauce. (I cannot recall the name of it). Pasta was fresh. I also tried some of the chicken parmigiana, which was amazing. Thin, like god intended it to be. The restaurant was busy, but not too loud. (My only issue was that it was a tad warm there) . I am sad that I live five hours away from it, but it is definitely one of the best.

Very pleased with this place. Attentive service and delicious food. The server recommended a chicken parmigiana (off menu), which was probably the best I've ever had. We also ordered rigatoni and side of mushrooms which were also good. Will return next time I'm in the area.

Everything was wonderful. The food was amazing. The service great. I can't say enough. A wonderful new find for us. Can't wait to come back.

Gorgeous contemporary yet romantic spot to enjoy perfectly crafted cocktails and scrumptious food. The carpaccio tuna special was soooooo good, as was the ravioli with morels + truffle. Entrees we're delish - enough to share for us. Service was top notch and so was the dine + wine Tempted by the Italian ricotta cheesecake & tiramisu, but there was a fresh strawberry Angel food special thing that we had to get, and just wow!! Def going back - what a lovely spot!

Best chicken parmigiana and I'm from New York! Pounded thin but not too thin that it gets dry, it was juicy with a sauce that was seasoned and well balanced.

Not sure how the overall rating here is not a solid 5 stars. Everything from the seasoned and very professional staff to the high quality food should be experienced if you're looking for excellent northern italian in a great atmosphere. I'd recommend something from the menu however everything I've had thus far is a stand out!

Wow!!! Wow!!! What a spectacular dinner!!! Good was divine!!! Flavors were amazing!!!!

Excellent as usual! We were seated at our reservation time outside as we had requested. Our server Andrea was professional and friendly. The food was delicious. My wife and I split our dishes and they served both our salad and our main dish split on 2 plates...the way we wished most restaurants would do it. The veal parm, our go-to dish at any Italian restaurant was very good. Also like that when the bill came you can scan QR code on the check and pay with Apple Pay.

Tramas was definitely a hidden gem in Long Branch! Drinks were fabulous, service on par & homemade pasta was perfect! Even the fish was fantastic! Would highly recommend!!! Xoxo

It's been a long time since I had such a consistently amazing meal from the appetizer to the dessert, all dishes were phenomenal. Their garlic bread and tiramisu dessert were the main stars of the show for me. 15/10 would go back in a heartbeat!

Amazing Italian restaurant in Long Branch! In NJ we have 100's of Italian restaurants, a lot of them are good, some are average, this one is Great!! The owner of the B&B where we are staying recommended them and we are so glad she did! Everything was delicious and the service was impeccable. We will be coming back with friends for sure!

Since moving to long branch a month ago, we've been to trama twice and don't plan on slowing down. Everything from the food, service, and ambiance is perfect. HIGHLY recommend the meatballs for a starter and pork chop for an entree.

Amazingly wonderful food along with great service made for a really lovely evening. Sat in the corner of the bar and had a great view of all of the goings on.

Never had fish with this much lemon on it. I ordered the popular fluke. The fish was very fresh and tender and soft but it was drowning in lemon. The fish wasn't even fishy. Never had risotto that was lemony either. It was extremely sour.

Excellent food and service, great wines as well. Great place for a nice quite dinner with significant other.

Spaghetti, veal parmigiana awesome . Filet mignon delicious. Tortellini perfect! Caprese Salad great, service spectacular!

What a terrible dining experience. Dined last evening for a family celebration. If we wanted fast food we can go to McD's. Plates were removed while forks were midway to our mouths. We could have eaten in a diner and felt less rushed. "Here's your check." Food was way overpriced. A minute amount of sole for $60+, really? The pasta was the only worthwhile dish. We won't repeat this mistake.

Fine Italian American cuisine by the Shore. Surprise was the baby artichoke salad and it's dressing. Quality veal and fish. First rate interior design. Nice bar and very good service.

Top 2 restaurant in Monmouth county in my opinion. The food is top notch. The chicken Parm's phenomenal you can order it off the menu. Best one I've ever had. You can also get reservations here easier than some of the other great restaurants in Monmouth county.

The service here is great! Even with the outdoor seating they have put in heaters. My food is always fresh. The bucatini is peppery and al dente. I love the artichoke salad its always great.

Good, service and ambiance all great. Had the meatball appetizer.. delicious! Organic salmon for dinner... very good and tiramisu and a latte for dessert! So good. Will definitely return.

It was a delicious experience. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was outstanding. Their artichoke appetizer was out of this world. The decor and ambience was just right. The eggplant parmigiana was delicious and the portion was perfect. Andrew recommend a bottle of wine which paired perfectly with our meal. Yum!!!

So Trama is our favorite place for food and drinks in the area. We go 5 or 6 times a month and sit at the bar and enjoy conversations with staff and other patrons. The food is just awesome and the menu changes seasonally with weekly specials that just amaze. Love the staff as they are always welcoming and accommodating.

Fantastic pasta!!!! I always enjoy my meal when I go to Trama's. Get the rigatoni, you will not be disappointed! The only thing I would say is that the drinks are not as great as their food. Food- 5/5 Drinks- 3.2/5

First of all ....the food was amazing the chicken was cooked amazing,never had chicken that good lol . The chef and cooks know exactly what they are doing. The desserts were amazing. All the workers were so consistent with serving us and the atmosphere was overall very pleasant. 100% recommend coming here also recommend the calamari it's always so good !

spots, location, service, timeliness amazed me and I feel coming on here to put down something positive in review would justify my satisfaction

This was our first time dining at Trama's and our reservation was at the bar. We ordered 2 apps, 2 entrees, and 2 rounds of drinks. It was about an hour and 20 minutes into the reservation when the entrees were cleared and after asking us if we were interested in dessert and handing us a menu, the bartender informed us that he could only offer us dessert to go because our seats were needed for the next reservation. l've never experienced this anywhere else, whether it was at the bar or at a table. When we asked why, he told us that a 2-person reservation has a limit of 90 minutes. Neither the hostess nor the bartender mentioned this previously. To make it worse, the bartender was snarky when we rightfully complained. Willing to bet a regular wouldn't have been treated that way. With a time limit, maybe the service should've been a bit quicker? Extremely disappointing and needless to say, that's our first and last dinner at Trama's.

After just getting back from Italy, I'm in that spirit of food; good Italian food. NJ has no shortage of good Italian fare, and that includes here at the Jersey shore. I think prices, although on the high side, are commensurate with the quality you get and are therefore worth it. My wife and I split the meatball on marscapone polenta appy. The meatball was soft, perfectly seasoned, and delicious. As an entrée I got the Garganelli Bolognese with mushrooms topped with a dollop of ricotta. Also excellent. Next time I think I'd like to try one of their risotto dishes and maybe make room for dessert.

I was looking forward to eating here & am thrilled we did. We were not disappointed! First order of business was our very efficient & personable waiter, Andrew, taking drink orders. I had a very nice tasting pinot noir. Next warm bread was brought to the table. It seemed a bit overcooked but I think that was the intent. It had a hard crust & tasted great. We all shared a meatball appetizer served with mascarpone polenta, olive oil & pecorino romano. It was literally about the size of my fist. We also shared an order of muscles; both were fabulous. For dinner I ordered the scallops served with butternut squash risotto, toasted pumpkin seeds, crispy brussel sprouts & maple spuma. Wow, just wow! The flavors blended very well &, well yes, it was excellent too. The portions were not large & the food was quite pricey but excellent quality. I'd give Trama 4.5 stars if I could. I highly recommend & I will most definitely be returning.

Everything was excellent. Server was knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly. I am gluten free and was accommodated easily. I had a GF penne pasta with sausage and Cacio e pepe. Delicious. My husband had the pork chop which was cooked to perfection and sooo tasty. Honestly the best I have ever tasted. Gelato and flourless chocolate cake for dessert, heavenly. Drinks were strong, the way I like them. Looking forward to heading back.

Enjoyed the carpaccio, caccio Pepe, and martinis. It's a very nice location, would definitely return.

Trust me the food is so good here. Very fresh ingredients I've had almost all of their fish dishes plus pasta and app are so good. Service is the best no issues at all and I've dined here at ver 10 times
