Trattoria Della Maddalena

Open till late on weekends. We thought about giving a try on way back. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Sea food quality and quantity was great. Meat/steak was ok. The main waiter was patient and helpful. Although some info he provided was confusing and contradictory like tap water is not good in Venice or olive oil in Venice may not be flavorful. Forgot our bread as well 😀. Nonetheless, it was good experience and definitely recommend.

Had a nice time at Della maddalena. They had good service and the waiter was very helpful and friendly.

Our family of five had dinner here and everything was delicious. We ordered Cozzo e Vongole alla Marinara but substituted for white wine and lemon, Lasagna, Spaghetti Al pomodoro, Spaghetti alla carbonara, and Pizza a la diabla. The waiter was polite and friendly. Everything was great! Also, reasonably priced.

I ordered clamshell pasta which was one pf the best I have ever tasted. Waiter was polite, funny and very helpful. Best food experience we have had in Venice 🤩

Me and my partner spent 3 days in Venice and we ate here twice. There's so much competition in Venice for places to eat that you don't know what to expect, but Maddalena did not disappoint! Firstly the food was amazing and so flavourful (they also offer a set menu for €15 which has great choices of lasagna, salmon pasta, mixed sea food, pork chop, fries, salad etc.) On top of this the staff are all super friendly and speak great English. We finished our 3 days here with a lovely evening meal to send us home with nothing but great memories and cravings for fresh sea food.

I was the last day of the year. Everywhere I was asked to have a reservation, but here the patron looked at me and gave me a little but very cute table. For a single traveler that one thing you love the most. Service was quick. A Prosecco to start. Be sure this is a hearty cozy original trattoria with great service people. I had the Tagliatelle Gamberi con asparagus. Grazie. Be sure to stop by.
