This place serves traditional dishes that are rich, rustic, and unapologetically greasy, in the best possible way.
It gets quite busy at lunchtime, so expect a full house and a little waiting. Although the staff didn’t speak Spanish, they made a real effort to understand us and provide great service — which we truly appreciated.
The pasta was very good, and the guanciale stew was especially delicious — flavorful, tender, and comforting. A great stop if you’re craving something honest and homemade within 20 euro budget.
