Tower Tap & Grill

My wife and I went here last night, and despite it being busy, we got great service. We got the tower dip, an experiment as it’s not our usual type of appetizer. It was delicious. I got the shrimp scampi, and she got a burger and they were fantastic. She got the chocolate tort, and I went for the raspberry sorbet and it was the perfect end to our meals. We also had a few drinks, and they were great too.

The service was exceptional! The staff was friendly and very professional from the moment we entered. Jamison was our server. He was very kind and efficient. He checked on us regularly and was very knowledgeable of the menu. My favorite dish was the BANG, BANG Shrimp. My husband could not stop talking about the Bison Burger! We dined there twice during our stay in Denver.

It was a subpar experience. Service was good for the most part and the atmosphere was pleasant as well. However, the food was not as good as I expected though. I ordered their Bison Burger and it was very bland. It didn’t have any seasoning, at least I didn’t feel like it did. And the French fries didn’t have any flavor either. For the price they charge it was not a pleasant experience. I would not recommend their food.

This place was kind of a let down. The food was extremely flavorless. I threw my food in the trash aka Justin’s mouth hole. I had the fish tacos and they tasted like nothing. No fish taste, no mango taste, just nothing…. The spinach dip was ok and frankly the star of the meal aside from the beer I got. This place is attached to a hotel so I guess you should know what to expect. My buddy had the salad and it was just as lack luster. This place gets two stars because of the scenery that was at the bar.

I really didn't expect such a good meal. Reviews weren't all that well. But I took a chance since I know how much people are so entitled these days. The host was very attentive and my server was great. I had the bison burger and a side salad. I was not disappointed at all. Going there again tonight if that says anything.

This restaurant is attached to the hotel. Ultimately this restaurant has an overarching theme of “good”. The decor and the vibe when you walk in is very nice. It has low lighting and a nice arrangement/floor plan layout. The menu selection is limited and the food choices are predictable. The beer selection does not have a wide variety. The burgers we had were good, but not great. The beef is slightly seasoned and it really depends on the sauces to do the work. The flatbread was tasty and had a good collection of flavours. Our server “accidentally” added a gratuity of 20%, even though our group was only 4 people. We probably would’ve tipped less because the service lacked lustre. This place was a good stop in but not somewhere you would choose to have a great dinner night or friend outing. Tower Tap has the potential to be great, but they just need to train staff on their charisma and up the flavour profiles on some of the dishes.

So I don’t think this place even knows how a restaurant is supposed to run. I came with 4 people and we ordered burgers. The server asked how we wanted them cooked. We all ordered differently. When the orders came out the person bringing them had no idea who’s was who’s. None of them were the way I ordered so they had to remake mine. The burger was so undercooked I almost couldn’t eat it. They also shorted us an order of fries. They need to have someone teach them how to give the right people the right orders.

I got take out. The service was good and the food came out fairly quick
