Visited March 2024. A convention center located in Chiyoda Tokyo close to Tokyo Station. I just happened to be in the area and didn't visit for a particular event. Either way, you are able to visit and see the dramatic atrium. There's also some food options in the courtyard.

It’s connected to Tokyo station so you won’t miss it. Great architecture, feels awesome just to sit inside and stare at the space inside the building.

It's kind of funny this place is quite Grandeur with all of its Criss-Cross walkways and very Majestic long glass of wall. However when you actually get into the conference rooms, they are somewhat small and oddly professionally bleak. Even the social gathering with catering was held on a long yet cramped room.
There's Shake Shack outside, for those who like burgers. Alhough the size is akin to a kids meal!

The Tokyo International Forum is a truly stunning piece of architecture with a huge glass atrium.
It’s a must see if you’re exploring the area around Yurakucho station.

❇️ Visited this awesome building to view its architectural splendor.
🟨 The Tokyo International Forum building is a civic complex on a 6.7 acre site that accommodates dance, musical and theatrical performances, trade conventions and trade shows, business meetings, and large reception halls.
✅️ Four subway lines and two of the most heavily-used train stations, 🟫Tokyo Station and 🟫Yurakucho Station, are located to the north and south of the site, and the area generates lots of pedestrian traffic.
🟡 My husband and I walked around the Yurakucho station too to explore the surroundings. Interesting place. ✳️ Lots of food trucks outside this Tokyo Intl Forum building too.

An interesting building in Ghinza. "V-shaped white pillars are a special feature of Hall E.
You might wonder why they are shaped this way.
Considering the structure and the weight of the
building, it is common to either erect pillars at every
9 m or use thick pillars. However, that would hamper
the use of the space. Therefore, wide
spaces were generated by erecting
four pillars in V-shape at one spot and
placing them 18 m away from each
other to provide adequate support to
the structure."

Tokyo Forum, August 2024. Everyone told me that it would be hot in Japan, when I visited at the height of summer. Suffocated by the heat that surrounded me both inside and outside, I searched for a space to explore away from the crowds of the nearby Tokyo Station. The overall shape of the Tokyo Forum reminds me of a dirigible or the inside of a whale, with the beams as the architectural ribs. The glass and steel, the light and openness, creates an ideal place to wander and wonder.

We visited this building just to admire its architecture. It was designed by Rafael Vinoly during the height of Japan’s economic boom, and they spared no expense when building this building. Very photogenic, very fancy. I would recommend visiting during the day to enjoy the sunlight.
