"Whale Watching in Baja There are two different kinds of whales that visit Baja each year, the humpback and the gray. The humpback can usually be spotted October through January, then again in April. The gray whale arrives from Alaska in late January and stays through mid-March to breed, mate and train their young for the long journey back. I was out on the water in a small fishing boat early February and we saw a great number of humpbacks–a truly magical and breathtaking experience. Unforgettable!"

A Truly Unforgettable Experience at Camp Cecil de la Isla Our recent adventure at Camp Cecil de la Isla was nothing short of amazing. From start to finish, we felt immersed in the beauty of the island and the warmth of the incredible team who made it all possible. A special thank you to our guide, Sergio, whose passion and knowledge made every moment unforgettable. The many snorkeling adventures he led were breathtaking — we explored vibrant reefs and swam alongside incredible marine life we’ll never forget. The kayak outings were just as wonderful, giving us the chance to experience the island’s serene beauty from a whole new perspective. We’re also so grateful for our talented boat captain, Jesus, who ensured every trip on the water was safe, smooth, and full of fun surprises. And last but not least, a huge thank you to Chef Luis, who kept us delighted with delicious meals every day. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and a perfect complement to our days spent exploring and relaxing. To anyone considering this adventure — we can’t recommend Camp Cecil de la Isla enough. It’s the perfect mix of nature, adventure, and genuine hospitality. We can’t wait to come back!

Just spent 8 days in the company of Octavio from Todos Santos Eco Tours visiting La Paz, where we planted coral and sand surfed, 2 nights camping at Magdalena whale and dolphin watching and 3 nights camping on espirito santos island snorkelling with sea lions, kayaking, hiking, turtle watching. We have made so many fabulous memories on this holiday of a lifetime. The 3 nights on the Island were a real highlight. Abraham, Carlos, Freddy, Petits, Aner, Jesus and Omar looked after everything from cooking/boats/cleaning. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone went out of their way to make our stay fabulous. Octavio was such good fun as well as being super knowledgable about everything we saw and his choice of restaurants was fab. Thank you so much

I had an amazing time at Camp Cecil. Our guide Octavio (Tavi) had endless knowledge about the area and it’s inhabitants and was a pleasure to spend time with. The camp itself was well equipped and well set up, the provided wet suits/fins/masks/lifejackets were in great condition. The food was excellent and there were ample soft drinks/coffee/tea (and beer) provided. The boat captain was very capable and friendly. Everything we did and saw was incredible! Cannot wait to return.

We have been all over the world with all kinds of companies, and this one is and always will be one of our most favorite and cherished trips of a lifetime! We had the most amazing and unforgettable time at Camp Cecil. What a fantastic operation and experience! Paulina was an exceptional guide, all of the staff were so kind, friendly, helpful, accommodating, and fun to be around. The food was unbelievably fantastic (we couldn't believe how creative and delicious every single thing we ate was and what the staff were able to come up with in a remote camp), we had the best weather every single day, the tents were fantastic, the bathrooms were super nice, and of course the experiences we had were the absolute best. Literally everything was perfect and I was so impressed with every single step of the experience. We had so many special experiences...watching the hundreds of fiddler crabs, nesting fridge birds, seeing sea turtles feeding, spotting a very rare toad on our hike, taking our son snorkeling for the first time, kayaking through the mangroves as the tide was rushing in, and the next day some adventurous kayaking through some very fun waves around the big rocky cliffside seen from the camp, a sea turtle popping up to say hi while we were kayaking, watching tons of little pufferfish curiously swimming around our feet right by the beach at high tide, watching and swimming with the sea lions, the list goes on and on. Thank you, thank you! We are already dreaming about when we can do this trip again!

We just came back from the Swimming with Sea Lions tour, and it was incredible! Our guide Sebastian was so informative and passionate about marine life in the Sea of Cortez, having studied marine biology himself. The trip was flawless. He picked us up from our hotel in Todos Santos in a comfortable, AC van. The trip to La Paz was beautiful. We picked up our gear in La Paz and boarded a boat that took us to the Sea Lion colony at Los Isoltes, with beautiful views of Isla Espiritu Santo along the way. I can’t describe how amazing it was to swim with the cutest Sea Lion puppies! They were so many of them, and they were so curious…constantly coming up to us to see what we were doing! On the way back, we had a delicious picnic lunch on a secluded beach. Our guide set everything up for us, including chairs and umbrella. Sebastian made a few stops so we could watch dolphins, rays, and birds, giving us interesting tidbits about the marine life in the area. In all, it was a magical time. Highly recommend this company!

We just returned from Baja and had an absolutely fantastic experience with Todos Santos! My family of four and our daughter’s friend was guided by Cesar, who was friendly, chill, fun, informative, well prepared and tuned in to our family’s needs - we couldn’t have asked for a better guide! We spent two days at Camp Cecil de la Sierra for a unique desert mountain experience. We loved the white rock swimming hole and ranch experience where we made tortillas, made leather bracelets and checked out the farm activities. At night we saw two elf owls, a ring tailed cat and scorpions. We spent three days at Camp Cecil de la Isla on Isla Espiritu Santo, which was the highlight of our trip. We boated all around the island and saw humpback whales, dolphins, and schools of feeding tuna. We snorkeled with a huge school of mobula rays, and spent time just cruising around the beautiful islands searching for animals and enjoying the natural beauty. We swam, snorkeled and kayaked around the beautiful bay right in front of the camp. The highlight for me was snorkeling with the sea lions and then scuba diving with them, where I had a sea lion playfully ‘bite’ my hand - no pain, just fun, like a giant friendly dog! Our camp mates were from Spain, Venezuela and Mexico so we had fun with the other guests in the evening. The food was absolutely amazing. We were shocked that such incredible gourmet food and drinks could be prepared right on the beach in the kitchen tent. We spent two days in Todos Santos exploring the town, checking out art and buying souvenirs. We did a taco crawl for some amazing tacos and took a gourmet Mexican cooking class at the Hotel California. All fun and delicious! The hotel pool was also a highlight, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. We spent the last two days in San Jose del Cabo exploring the art galleries and souvenir shops, eating Mexican food. We did a shark safari out into the ocean where we snorkeled with blue sharks and mako sharks – up close and personal! My son and I dirt biked in the desert mountains right down to the Sea of Cortez for an epic off-road experience. All in, this was a very well organized, fun, unique and adventurous trip that got us up close and personal with amazing wildlife and out doors in gorgeous and wild natural settings, while teaching us a lot about Mexican culture, people and food, all while having a ton of fun. I can’t recommend Todos Santos enough for an authentic, memorable and exciting Mexican experience!!!

We stayed with Todos Santos Eco Adventures over the holidays and the entire family had a wonderful time. Our guide Sergio was very attentive to everyone's needs, particularly my partner's 80 year old mother, who needed some assistance when snorkeling and getting in and out of the boat. He made the trip very enjoyable not only for her, but for the teenage kids as well, always providing suggestions for wonderful activities for the whole family. He was also extremely knowledgeable about the local floral and fauna and made the hiking, interesting even for teenagers. Ricardo our chef was phenomenal, providing gourmet meals every night. How he was able to produce that caliber of meals from a kitchen on the sand was nothing short of magic!! Abraham our camp manager was wonderful helping us plan a few surprises for the family for Christmas. Everyone agreed glamping is the BEST way to spend Christmas and Todos Santos Eco Adventures made it a MOST memorable Christmas! Thanks!!

Fantastic leader and crew. Excellent accommodations: tents set up on white sand beaches; mattresses with cotton sheets and comforters; gourmet food and free drinks. The adventures included snorkeling with baby sea lions, hiking, extra gorgeous sunsets, kayaking. The crew is top notch in every way. If I could I'd go back often!

Yelp
We did the 2-night stay at Todos Santos' Camp Cecil glamping (glampground?) on Isla Espiritu Santo. It was incredible! They set up tents right on the beach where you sleep in a super comfy bed; each day they take the boats out for some incredible snorkeling with schools of millions of fish and sea lions cavorting about; and every meal is made by a gourmet chef and professional crew right there on the beach, often with freshly caught Baja fish. The guides were excellent and incredibly multilingual, easily switching between English, Spanish, French and Italian, and there are only 7 tents on the beach and nobody else for miles around so it certainly isn't crowded. The bathrooms are just huts on the beach but they keep them remarkably clean and smell-free, and they have a little camping shower you can use. We were very comfortable. They also do a good job of keeping the camp low-footprint, packing everything out and composting what they could. We took our 8-year-old daughter also and she loved it, and the Todos Santos crew loved her too. She generally liked the food, and on the occasion when it was too spicy for her, the chef came out and made sure she liked it, and if she didn't he made her something different like a quesadilla. She was sad when we had to leave. Overall, it was just an incredible adventure, and one that we'd definitely do again.

Yelp
Kayak and snorkeling from Pichilingue. Sergio was our guide. So very knowledgeable and personable. Took us to coves with no one else there, explained the history, geology and archeology of the area. Fantastic provided lunch of ceviche, papaya and guacamole.

Yelp
This was our first trip to La Paz with our two little kids, and we had an amazing time doing the Whale Shark and Sea Lion tour with Todos Santos Eco Adventures. Such an amazing and friendly company. It was the first time for my kids to snorkel, and seeing them in the water with the sea lions and whale sharks was an amazing experience. The water near the sea lion island was so clear that it was like looking into an aquarium. So many colorful fish the sea lions were really playful. For the whale sharks part of the tour, we were blown away by how big and gentle the whale sharks were. It was mind blowing to swim right next to them. Truly a memorable moment. This company is the real deal and one of the leading eco-tour companies in the world. Thank you to our guide Hernando for the wonderful experience! (and shout out to Christie - the wonderful guide during the whale shark part)
